I think what we lack is the passion we had in the past. We need more ways to make ECs exciting, more non-CC creatures that can be obtained with ECs and not just given out freely (like cave monthlies, that have no value for years & get back in VEND).

Exactly... everything is about CC this, CC that... and nobody tries to make a fair trade anymore. So trading has been slow because everyone want to obtain the best CC deal / offer and EC offers aren't even considered anymore. Nobody swaps CC for ECs, too...

It feels a little like these people spread around a lot of kindness back then. These days things sometimes go out of control and the mood turns angry very often. But maybe it's just nostalgia feelings... things after all always change...
