CAVECASH SCAMS - Recently, some users have been using the "Gift CaveCash" feature in the Cash Shop Park to trade CaveCash in conjunction with the Trade Center. Please realize that this is not a secure way to trade CaveCash! Upon gifting CaveCash to the other user (for a trade), they do not have to accept the trade and can completely scam you, stealing the CaveCash. Please do not use the "Gift CaveCash" feature to trade CaveCash. We cannot restore any CaveCash lost this way.

of egg cave. Mostly it's important for freezes, but also creatures. If we couldn't trade CC, I would leave in a second.

I don't think Ian is going to make a way for CC to be traded. I'm still trading CC with my friends though (we've traded many times before)

It has nothing to do with how easy or hard it would be to implement the feature. Ian has already expressed his distaste for CC trading.

I understand the concerns but then why have the "Gift CaveCash" feature then? People see that as trading not gifting *in my mind*

"Gift CaveCash" was made for, well, gifting CaveCash. As to not expect anything in return for it.
As of currently, I am unaware of what will be done in the long run regarding this feature.

Truthfully, Ian has already clarified that CC was never intended for trading purposes, and there are users out there who are generous.

I like the gifting feature. I have gifted CC to my closest friends. It sure was easier to just give it to them and not have it drawn out. đ

Yes, so it may be. But, this was just to inform everyone to be careful as doing such can be risky and can result in being scammed.

The only thing is, trading pure CC is often more convenient. You can freeze/star/gender change the creature yourself instead of sending it-

by the same token, if you send your creature over to someone to get these things done, you risk not getting creature back
there are scammers every where. no matter what you do, just be careful!

Only difference between "CC trading" and having the other person do your freeze/gender change is that in the latter case you can ask for

collateral, so you don't end up with nothing. And if the person doesn't have something valuable enough you probably shouldn't send the pet

- do not have to "reserve" the CC they traded for. They can get it instantly. Isn't that a good thing? 99% of Eggcavers don't scam. :-/
