Tomorrow beginning at 12:00 AM ECT (UTC-5) the Corlinn, Scarrow, and Squinton will be unvaulted in the Cash Shop through November 30. These creatures were first released in 2012 which makes them 8 years old.
To ensure that each major timezone has a chance at obtaining these creatures, here is the schedule of how the total stock available will be released.
Here's how it works to protect values while increasingly supply of the rarest of the rare creatures.

@dragiigy I wouldn’t have minded so much if they were priced at their original price so I don’t get the “keep their value” pricing of $1kCC each. I’d love to get a few I don’t have but I can’t afford those pricing so I’m kinda out of this race. Have fun all.

@calenlass 100% agree with you. I am just sad, because Eggcave is not collecting game for children. Who would pay (for instance) ---Ignis ✦ ~ 29k cc = 290$? ops...“keep their value”

@dragiigy we agree. A "collecting" game where things are $290 isn't very fun. But it might become fun if there's a limited supply for $10 again...

The thing is... is yes! Stuff that's $100+ would drop to become around ~$10 but that's why there's "no rereleases two years in a row" -- the prices will go back up again if you continue to hold on your "investment" just like the people back in 2012 did their rare creatures.

PS you never make a "return" or "gain" on your investment until you sell it at the appreciated value. For example, if a user obtained an Ignis back in the day for 500 CC and it's now $290+, they have not "made" 28.5k CC until they've sold it for that value.

Rereleased species begin at 1000 CC or higher What does it mean? First Scarrow egg will be 1000 CC, then second egg more then 1000 CC?

@dragiigy 1000 CC is the "price floor" minimum for all rereleased/unvaulted creatures. it could be more depending on their rarity.

@dragiigy tomorrow, the most expensive creature will be the Scarrow for 1800 CC each. the others will be cheaper than that. so nothing over 2000 CC tomorrow.

...have spent 100 € in a month.... Yes, I am very frustrating...but have limits.

$10 is a lot of money, especially in these times. I think a better way to keep their value would be to keep the price at under $10 but make these ones untradable.

Yay!! im excited!! feels like some people are willfully ignoring some information lol but anyway it'd be nice if we knew the prices before-hand so we can save the amount of CC for them instead of finding out we're short of CC on that day ☹️

@sandara rerelease critters that people will not be tagged on creature profiles initially. we have the data though if the community demands a badge/tag of some kind to differentiate. but the stolen date is gonna be the biggest indicator.

I mean it's a virtual creature. They are making it pretty reasonable. If an online game can sell a cosmetic for $35 and in a loot box, why is $10 a big deal? Creatures are pretty much cosmetic and there are plenty for free.

i agree with the above comments that a bit of a heads up on the CC cost would be much appreciated! perhaps how the rereleases will be announced a month in advance, the CC price could also be announced alongside them? 😊

i've said it on the previous blog post but some people are forgetting so i'll say it again: something having a CC price tag does NOT mean you have to spend CC to get it! more old creatures in circulation=more creatures to trade for, you'll have a much easier time trading --

@pwuffy great point about circulation. let those who want to buy, buy. the increased supply means that there is an increased possibility of people actually being able to trade, whereas right now they just simply cannot.

Thanks so much for doing this and listening to all the feedback. I will however give a big no to someone suggesting these should not be for trade. It's part of the game. I see that prices will be higher so that makes sense and I'll keep it in mind,

@sprite Yeah I agree, I think a lot of people are just failing to look at the bigger picture and is just focusing on the price. I would rather pay 1k-2k, even 3k for a creature versus 7-15k CC. I think after the trial a lot of people will realize how beneficial rereleases are.

Something like 4-5k is reasonable for a creature currently being traded for 20k cc
