Don't know whether to be annoyed or worried at Ian's complete lack of communication. I re-opened a bug ticket on the 10th and haven't gotten a response, usually get responses to those in less than a week. @Ian I hope you are dong alright.

@ian, you know how much your userbase values communication. It's not fair to send out notifications and emails to prepare for a huge change and then seemingly abandon us. You have a duty to provide timely and relevant updates. Absenteeism does EggCave absolutely no favours.

Last concrete update I can recall us receiving was something about tuberculosis (feel free to correct this if wrong), so have been rather concerned. Hope Ian is in good health, at least.

@sparklefox bronchitis, not TB just to correct kindly! I hope he's okay. I do wish there was another person who could take on some of the EggCave work when Ian isn't here.

All y'all saying about Ian being unwell - that was like a month ago atp. I do hope he's okay but this isn't a one-time occurrence, it's a consistent pattern of poor communication and broken promises. I wish he loved this community like we do.

@chaotictreat agreed. Seems this is a recurring issue and since there's no one he shares his role with, all the things he has control over get severely neglected.
