Welcome to October at Egg Cave! The Halloween Fair is back with new prizes and creatures. You can participate and collect Seeds from various Halloween Fair activities all day, every day throughout October. Also, this season's decorations have been put back up on the site. Yay!
The legendary Diment and Spookcat have been unvaulted for this month. They're available while supplies last. They're at the Cash Shop right now—find yours there for 1000 CC each.
This month's absolutely stunning Cash Shop Monthlies are the Kilantern and Larvametus. The Larvametus and its wonderful description come to you from @dragrawr! The first of its kind has been added to your account free, along with the Creator's Mark.
Equally exciting as the Cash Shop creatures, the Cave is not without new monthlies, too! Say hello to the brand-new Vampiria and Zombitt. Find them in the Cave through the rest of this month.
The annual Halloween Fair has returned! All of the Fair's stands are now open for you to collect pumpkin Seeds. Collect Seeds from both the Fair's stands and from feeding creatures around Egg Cave the entire month. Then, spend your Seeds at the Halloween Fair Prize Shop for rewards. Here's how it works...
Use the orange box on the sidebar to see which activities are available to you throughout the event and when you can visit next. Finally, the Prize Shop has some new prizes this year. Keep reading to see the new ones.
This year's new creature prize is the Gurvari!
Due to a delay with our artists, the 4 new Travel prizes have NOT YET BEEN ADDED to the Prize Shop. They are coming in the following days—KEEP SOME SEEDS ON HAND if you plan to get the new Travels from the Prize Shop and stay tuned for that announcement. They will be priced at the same price as the rest (400 Seeds).
The Trick will not be available as a prize from the Prize Shop this year. It has been retired. All previously available Travels from last year are available again this year.
The Fangtharp, Muckle, and Luskrull creatures are available again this year. They're the same cost as last year (in Seeds). There is a limit of 1 per account. It's your chance to obtain some pretty old creatures!
Stargazing is not meant to be played or completed on mobile devices like tablets or phones. The page will still load for you but the controls for drawing lines are not designed for touch screen devices.
Please plan to complete this activity from desktops and laptops for the best results.

@seraph same thing, with re-realizes ppl become extremely greedy for CC, they even ignoring offers in the form of mass of EC over 10mil.

@dragrawr I don't think the site team will go for it, in the end it will go to them at a loss. such sites live mainly on mastodons, who pay for years, and also staff doesn't look like a persons who can give a clear answer when it is inconvenient for them to answer.

forgive me for my bluntness, but I've been here for several years, and I can clearly see the picture that the site defines a minority with money and understand why they are allowed to do this. there is no need to go far for an example - remember Nym's hordes.

@mindwhiper @dragrawr we've implemented the Monthly Challenge (the ability to earn CC without a direct buy) as the next-best-idea for the EC -> CC conversion terminal.

It would be nice if we could have more Constellations added in the future and perhaps other spooky items for solving them, like toys you could only get from the fair ❤️

Sooo... Do I understand correctly that the Kinump is going to be retired next year and this year is the only chance to get the seed-eggs for the foreseeable future? (re: the Monthly Challenge CC, may I remind that possession of a phone number to give out is not universal?)
