In a few days beginning in August, the Nym and Byte will be unvaulted and available again. It's been a decade since the Byte made its last appearance.
They will be 1000 CC each.

When a specie is re-re-released, how does it work about that “can’t double its number population” thing?
nut • 29 Jul 2026, 8:48 PM
still hoping one day the cooldown for rerelease is longer, like 5 years. less conventionally popular species never see the light of day if stuff like nym wins every time it can ☹️
@raitonchidori i assume the population is just twice as large now so twice as many are rereleased this time 😩

Woot on the Unvaulting getting announced! // But I agree, we really need to extend out how long before a creature can be unvaulted. (I thought i'd be fine with moving it from 2 to 3, but it feels too frequently with the Nym. So i'm on board with 5. ...
snowywinter • 29 Jul 2026, 9:28 PM
...It stops feeling special this frequently, and more of a "seasonal" like a Leep or Elge.)

Don't get me wrong I love the nym and I'm glad more users are getting the chance to obtain one but I really was hoping for something that hadn't been rereleased before
Might get a byte 😊

Last time the Nym was rereleased I bought one and then traded it, then regretted not keeping it. Definitely buying one for keeps this time! That said, I *really* wish it was a creature that hasn't been rereleased yet. There are so many great choices.

Wow I didn’t realize the Nym has been rereleased a couple times before :0 I am excited for the chance to finally get a Nym though.

Nym again? Guys, don't get me wrong, but eagerness for money is becoming more clear now. Nym is cool tho, but maybe some of users WANT A CHOICE OVER OVERPOPULAR NYM, HA? Without negative, my thoughts.
