ENDANGERED SPECIES - Say, where's the Sey, Garguaith, and Yamamagan? These three species are now endangered and can no longer be stolen from The Cave.

THE LEEP - It's rumored that the Leep won't be available in the Cave much longer... at least, not until next year's birthday!
THE PRIZE SHOP IS HERE - You have waited patiently for its arrival and now it is here! The Prize Shop for Egg Cave's 2016 Asteroid Plot is now open for business. Trade your hard-earned plot points in for some great prizes!
NEW ASTEROID CREATURES - Ambassador Thrakhis tinkered a bit with the Mysterious Asteroid before departing Ark. It looks like he left a few new creatures as gifts, however! Can you manage to find them? If not, there is always the Prize Shop for the time being.
PARETEORSITE RETIRED - To prevent future uprisings, the Pareteorsite has been retired from the Mysterious Asteroid. The good news? Many of them have been displaced after the Pareteorsite Queen's defeat and now need a new home if you can afford the plot point adoption fee. 100 CAVECASH - If you have fully completed the Asteroid Plot, well... congratulations! A 100 CC Voucher has already been automatically added to your Inventory. Go on and buy something nice from the Cash Shop, you deserve it! INCREASED ASTEROID CHANCE - Those of you who have participated in the Asteroid Plot, regardless of completion, now have a permanently higher chance at finding a creature from the Mysterious Asteroid. You are more likely to find an egg than users who did not participate in this site event. Best of luck! QUEEN SLAYER - Okay, she might not actually be dead, but the Pareteorsite Queen sure did take a real beating. Once again, we congratulate icymuffin for landing the final strike on her! Your bravery has netted you an additional 100 plot points! YEWEFOH CDWC WINNER - Congratulations to bot for having their Yewefoh description chosen above all the other entrants. You did a great job on writing for this creature. 100 plot points have been added to your account alongside a free Yewefoh!

WE'RE OLD - We're so old. Happy SEVENTH birthday, Egg Cave! Thank you to all of our lovely players who have supported us for so many amazing years. ASTEROID PLOT CLOSING - After more than a month since its exciting (and long awaited) release, Egg Cave's 2016 Asteroid Plot is finally coming to an official end. The end date is July 24th at 12:00 PM ECT. If you haven't started or completed the plot yet, now is your chance to do so! VERY EXCITING NEWS - We've kept it a secret... but... we just can't keep it in anymore! Over the next several months, we're developing Egg Cave version 3, a total redesign of Egg Cave and its features. We can't say much at the moment, but here's a sneak peek of the design (note: everything is subject to change!). Follow our Facebook and Twitter, as this is where we'll drop screenshots of the new version every once in a while. ;)
