A creature that will be released on the Lunar New Year 2018 has appeared in the Creature Description Writing Contest. There's a bit more time and heads up to complete your entries, so take your time.
The winner of the CDWC entry for this species will be the first to receive the creature (for free) and will be permanently credited in the Archives.
The Science and Research Center is requesting your help with funding the research of the Squidot creature.
It is the Science and Research Center's most expensive endeavor yet, requesting a hefty 1 billion EC in funding.
Creature Release Week returns January 15. For one week, a brand-new creature will be released every day that you'll be able to collect from the Cave. Stay tuned for more developments.

A bug with eggs' "recent feeders" list has been fixed. There was a glitch that accidentally cleared the entire recent feeders list on a creature when a new player fed a creature with 5 existing recent feeders.
You will now have a much, much more accurate knowing of who's feeding and who isn't! Have fun.
These monthly trinkets are now restocking in the Trinket Travels shop for a reasonable price. Find the ones you want there!
After a long wait, the Reminsect has finally appeared in the Cave for adoption! Congratulations to the CDWC winner @ladybugheart.
The Hydra was released last year to celebrate 500 species of creatures at Egg Cave. It has been available in the Cash Shop for most of the later part of last year. It will retire from the Cash Shop on January 31 at 11:59 PM ECT. Get yours before they are gone!
Also retiring from the Cash Shop are last year's end-of-summer Cash Shop Travels. They will be retiring on January 5 at 11:59 PM ECT.
Monthly Trinket Travels are on their way for January 2018's creatures.
