Aeroria, head administrator of the Town Hall, has finally decided to hire 50 new workers to assist her with the paperwork surrounding all of the creature name changes in Ark.

As a result, you can now change any of your creatures' names 10 times per 30 days.

There is a new species of creature that has been discovered in Ark. It was discovered, contrary to popular belief, not by the Science and Research Center, but by an Ark resident, savannah!

How to vote: At the bottom of every myLights entry, there is now a button to vote. You can vote ONCE for each entry.

How to find entries: Visit your friends' profiles (and their friends' profiles) and look for the myLights banner at the top of their profile. If they are entered in the myLights Christmas Competition, the myLights banner will appear. Click the banner to view their entry; if you like the entry, vote for it!

Voting closes December 31 at 3:00 pm Egg Cave Time. We will tally the votes and announce the winners on New Years.

And due to popular demand, submissions are still being accepted while voting is commencing. It's not too late to enter just yet!

Three new Travels are now available at the Travel Agency! They were hand crafted by the wonderful piucca, who contributed these backgrounds to Egg Cave. :D Post on her wall and say thanks!

You can now "bring home" your creatures from traveling too. This will remove the background from your creature. Please note that you will not receive the Travel back (to use on, let's say, another creature); Travels work the same way real-life traveling works -- once your travel is over, it's simply a memory of the past. :) "Bringing home" your creatures be done at the Travel Agency in Ark City.

Users were abusing a glitch at the Science and Research Center and "gave" themselves Egg Coins and then re-donated the EC back. This bug has been patched and the current donation amount for the Science and Research Center has been rolled back to before this glitch was discovered.
