I'm new so I don't know anything about the site lol.

I found an egg and this was the riddle that came up

Ancient and rarely seen
Untameable but gentle
I hold the secret of life
but will not share

What species am I?

I'm not sure how to go about this

whiteangel • 1 April 2013 at 10:54 AM

Thanks!
I searched the whole site, and I still missed some.
^^ 😊

artbreakerhelen • 1 April 2013 at 10:49 AM

Heyyy,

So I'm completely new to this site but it seems cool so far. I'd love to make some friends so feel free to add me!

My names Helen. I live in the UK.. I like music, games, food, gigs etc. This site kind of reminds me of pokemon. Haha.

@myeternalbones

Welcome to EggCave!

Just in time for the Easter Hunt. It ends on Wednesday, so you might want to get started.

Keep an eye out for tiny little eggs around the site. ^^

april__ • 1 April 2013 at 9:54 AM

@aliceprewett

Side accounts are for storage for extra creatures, and storage only. You can't steal from the cave, asteroid or participate in site events on them.

I don't have an answer for that.

What creature doesn't have a number next to it?

UFT stands for up for transfer. ^^

When I saw the site blog, it had all of the old March CSPs!!! Does anyone else have this same problem?

Hi,

This introduction shall be short.

Kthxbye!(not; happy april fool's day)

I chanced upon this site because of *cough*no*cough* good reasons, and decided to join in this... what is it that we do here?

No matter. I'm sure I shall learn along the way. 😃

elixellen • 31 March 2013 at 11:30 PM

Hi there! I just joined two days ago! I wish EggCave is a great adoptable site! 😸 I thank mrdonut for giving me a couple of pets+travels for letting me start out. I would like to make some friends to start out, so anyone is welcome here to chat 😸

pebblestar-nightclan • 31 March 2013 at 10:32 PM

@jazzyleia
Thanks for the trade. X3

@immortalraven
Do you think you could help me out with how the site works and rarities and stuff? :T I don't know all of this stuff and I really need to. XD My username is FelicitousRex, by the way.

jazzyleia • 31 March 2013 at 9:58 PM

@jennifer
@honk

Is Chicken Smoothie a fun adoptable site? I am thinking about playing it but I want some opinions first.

@karatianna

Welcome to Egg Cave! May I ask what site told you to come? 😊

karatianna • 31 March 2013 at 5:07 PM

thought I would come and say hi, since the site told me to

xxxmahiruxxx • 31 March 2013 at 2:52 PM

@midnightw1822

Moderators have said it many times. Storages are just that; for storing items. You can only participate with your main accounts for site events, stealing eggs from the cave and the Mysterious Asteroid.

As @scream has said it's in the site rules and blog comments.

scream • 31 March 2013 at 2:34 PM

@midnightw1822 It says in the site rules and in the blog comments.

borgore • 31 March 2013 at 1:04 PM

@karamel

Hm. I agree with you there.

lizymarie • 31 March 2013 at 1:00 PM

Well I am glad i started a well needed conversation....

karamel • 31 March 2013 at 12:46 PM

@borgore Perhaps people have used them all up or people are hoarding them - or people just don't want to trade them? I could come up with many circumstances in which the user demand is greater yet the travel is common.

borgore • 31 March 2013 at 12:41 PM

@karamel

OH. I was like 'huh?' 😋

Yeah, I get what you mean. But maybe people just wouldn't pay so much due to there being so many? I'm not sure if it would work like that, but it sometimes does with crits. 😋

karamel • 31 March 2013 at 12:39 PM

@borgore No, I didn't mean that you DID ignore me... I meant you should ignore me because I got it wrong. x3

Even if there are thousands of them, the user demand could still be greater.

borgore • 31 March 2013 at 12:38 PM

@karamel

I didn't ignore you at all lol.

The only reason I really think they should do this is 'cause of SoBs being worth 250CC when God knows how many of them there are in existence. If there were like, 1,000s of them, their worth would drop. (In my opinion) Just like how eggs do when their 'new...

karamel • 31 March 2013 at 12:20 PM

@borgore e_e Okay then, just ignore me. xD

I still don't approve of the "count ALL the existing travels!!!!11!!one 😃 " thing because of how unnecessary it is (to me - I want this to be like the Archives and they don't do it with creatures, so...), but it's up to Ian if he decides to impl...

borgore • 31 March 2013 at 12:17 PM

@karamel

They're not retired, they pop up frequently.

Same with Ark Forests, they're 'virtually unobtainable' but still pop up in the TA.

SoBs have a rarity of 'VERY RARE' (or whatever the red coloured one is) and are retired.

It's all really confusing to be honest lol. 😋

karamel • 31 March 2013 at 12:15 PM

@borgore I thought the Sunset of a Heart was retired (and yes, they used to be common). 'Virtually unobtainable' means they're retired...? Like the Luxury Beaches and the Tree of Sparkling.

On the other hand, I don't stalk the Travel Agency as much.

borgore • 31 March 2013 at 12:13 PM

@karamel

Things like Sunset of a Hearts are classed as 'virtually unobtainable' and are actually really common, but I see what you mean.

@lizymarie

Yeah, that'd be a good idea. 😊

karamel • 31 March 2013 at 12:10 PM

@borgore I think we should have the rarity numbers (like the Archives, basically); but not the amount of existing ones. The ones that are 'rare' according to the site are rarer to buy via the Travel Agency, so of course they're as rare as they're made out to be - according to the site.

You wouldn't...

lizymarie • 31 March 2013 at 12:09 PM

@borgore I completely agree with that one. Yeah. And a search tool, like the archives for the creatures.

Maybe even the date of release, that would be helpful. 😊

I just would like to have this on the site!!! : D

borgore • 31 March 2013 at 12:07 PM

@lizymarie

Perhaps it could have rarity numbers as well? Like how many are in existance so you know if a travel is actually as rare as it's made out to be?

lizymarie • 31 March 2013 at 12:04 PM

@rojoqueen @karamel

Pretty much, I want one here on this site. I don't see why there isn't. 😊 That's all I meant.

It's a smaller request, so I wasn't expecting too much attention.

karamel • 31 March 2013 at 12:03 PM

@rojoqueen That's a fansite though. @lizymarie wants an official one.

I support - I'm not manic about it, but it IS logical, seeing as we have the Archives. 😊

rojoqueen • 31 March 2013 at 12:00 PM

@lizymarie
There already is one, http://www.dex.eggcavern.net/view/travels (Its on eggcavern)
