Pinging. Pinging is when you put the @ symbol before somebody's username, and they are notified that you responded to something they posted or simply addressed them. Like what I did above.

@Ems You type a hash, first: # Okay? Then you type a word, like ExampleHash. That's what we'll hash for. Now you bring them together: #ExampleHash See? It just links as soon as you post!
