How do you get asteroid creatures?

In my honest opinion, I'm sure there is some kind of pattern.
What would go into it would be, at certain times of the day, a creature would be in a certain slot. Though the time varies, as does to witch slot would hold the creature.
Since we do not know the coding behind the automated creature/slot appearance time, to us it is luck when we come upon one.
I'm sure if we had records of when people found a creature and at which slot they found it, eventually we could figure out the coding behind the mystery. But then the fun and luck and rarity would all be lost!

I got mine 3rd slot, 4:02-ish PM, and it was a tenalp. idk what I did differently, from what I've heard, I think it's all luck, luck, and more luck. 😋

i have terrible luck 😋 i got mine...ummm...NEVER >:| lol
maybe its a certain amout of time when somebody else gets it o3o liek 1 hour, then 2 hours... IDK xD

Problem is, we need the times. I tried gathering it before to see if it was kinda like the Turmy on Neopets.
Problem is, not everyone wants to share & it's kind of hard to find all the asteriod creatures.
Ian kinda seemed to imply that it wasn't just luck though.
(Isn't everything on the web made of codes though?)

I am 90% certain its random. 😉 However, I think that the slot might have to do with the species. From what I've seen, the aliens gained seem to be in slot order or storticai, tenalp, pareteorsite.

But someone correct me if I'm way off. 😋

@zac yea, there was this theory in the official asteroid thread topic about a 5-7 day period for the storticai, and you needed to choose the 1st slot, a 5-7 day period for the tenalp, and you choose the 2nd slot, and a 5-7 day period of the pareteorsite, and you choose the 3rd slot. something like that😋

My cousin got a Storticai from the middle/right slot, she said.
But either way, anyone want to work on figuring out the solution to asteroid(if there is any)?

all really interesting. there is no such thing as random for computers; its all a code/sequence that hopefully is pretty random, so it always is a code of some kind. but my guess is as close to random as possible (not that i would know)

I think it might be that each player gets one at a certain time and slot that is different for each account. That would account for everyone's different times, wouldn't it?

You'll have to keep trying. For some users it'll take a month or so, for some it will take much longer.
