tricia has fail at her powers currently, but is in good physical shape, and should be able to pick up hand to hand combat quickly.

Marrissa walked up to the girl, Raven and the girl Tricia or Patricia but I think she likes to be called Tricia.

"Hey I heard you guys are planning to have a mock fight, can I watch? Some newbies are natural fighters so I always like to pick up a few pointers! But I suggest you stretch first."

marrissa stopped to stretch her legs a bit and then continued, "I'm not sure if I'd have time to stretch my legs before a fight but I at least do it every morning."

Marrissa blocked Raven's blow easily, "Don't worry about hurting me, the Infirmary's pretty well stocked with supplies. Try to aim for the parts where I'm not expecting, if you see me leaning on my left leg, aim for my right side."

Marrissa went back to defense mode as she tried to coach Raven through hand to hand combat.

"That was really good actually! But those only really work on the less heavier people because they can't sit on you. I've had that happen."

Right after she finished her sentence she flipped past Raven and hit Raven's back.

"Ow." Raven flopped to the floor in mock defeat. "I'm beat, lets-" She paused. Everyone seemed to be gathering in the center of the gym. "Check that out," she finished.

Summer went to shed by herself. She would come to the assembly later. Secret survival field trip thing? Summer loved the idea of it. But it seemed tough, just like the name of the facility. So going to the shed was all the more necessary. Summer summoned all her strength and superheated her fingers so she could melt the locks. Then she strolled into the dark shed and fumbled around for a light switch. "Drat. I should have brought a flashlight." Summer groaned. She was about to leave when a faint light started glowing....it was the tips of her fingers. It seemed at each fingertip, there was a small glowing ball of light. "Cool. This just gets better and better!" Summer used her newfound ability to illuminate the room. The room was filled with weapons EVERYWHERE. Swords, daggers, bows, slingshots, you name it. Summer searched around for the perfect weapon for herself and her friends. "Ooh, Jade would love these arrows, they shoot smoke. Hmm, I think Ivy would like a genetically altered Venus-flytrap. Raven might like this obsidian dagger....." Summer picked out power-themed weapons for each of her friends. Even Tricia got a razor-sharp pencil! Summer carefully selected a dagger made of metel that would stand being thrown in a volcano. Summer carted her weapons in a wheel barrow and left the shed with a smile.

Someone post so I can finish what I'm saying....I'm flagging on too much! XD

And I was about to say this:

Ok...if you think Summer's going overkill consider this:
1. Summer has not mastered fire and can't use it on command.
2. Making light balls is practically useless 😋
3. Jumping isn't really a power, more of an enhanced ability.
4. She can't really defend herself (unless she can master fire yet) so I think a knife is good for any baddies that come her way.

If your charrie doesn't want a weapon, it's okay. If you didn't like what I picked for your charrie and you DO want a weapon, just say that's what I brought back 😉

Predictably, Coach chose the biggest guy in the class, presumably to wash everyone else with fear. Everyone was sitting there, praying they weren't going to die today. Coach walked round the circle once with a rather evil smile. And stopped. Raven peeked to see who was the victim.
Oh no....

Summer shook the door to the gymnasium (at least I THINK that's where you all are) but the door was locked. So Summer sat on a bench and waited with her wheelbarrow of lethal weapons.

Are you guys outside or in a gym?

Me. I got up slowly, and traded a look with Riley. We both knew why Coach had chosen me. He gave a slight encouraging smile. I looked around at everyone else. They were a mix of relief, pity, horror, disbelief. Raven looked like she was going to faint. He'd laugh about it later. He turned to face his opponent.

Ow. Ow. Ow. Raven couldn't look, but the sounds said it gotta hurt. Then the air rushed as someone went flying and hit the ground. She peeked and saw Kuro was on the ground. She shut her eyes tight. She heard the thuds of the buff guy walking. Suddenly the air moved suddenly again and a loud smack announced someone making hard contact with the gym floor. There was a startled pause, then everyone cheered. Raven looked. Kuro was standing, out of breath and a bit dusty, but smiling smugly and watching Riley receive lots of cash. She guessed he had bet on Kuro winning. Coach came and congratulated him, and she wondered whether Coach had known this would happen, then sent him of to get changed. Out of the corner of her eye she saw the med people getting buff guy on a stretcher, but no one really cared.

Summer looked towards the gym. Even from outside, she could hear painful noises. She flinched even though she didn't know what was happening, and something told her she didnt want to know.....
