Summer jolted awake with a touch of sunburn on her forehead, from the morning sun shining on her face. She jumped up and wiped some drool off of her chin and checked her phone. "SUNDAY?! I was asleep for TWO DAYS?!" Summer ran to the cafeteria and started stuffing her face with food. After her food binge, she ran off to find he friends and catch up. She saw Jade chatting with her friends and ran up to her. "Hey, what did I miss?"

Raven collapsed on her bed, exhausted. He sure knew a lot about shadows. She wondered if he'd been experimenting. That was dead against school rules. Like she cared. Anyway, she'd finally gotten one to move! It had taken a lot more effort than she'd thought. She guessed she wasn't one of those people power would come to easily, and she'd need to do a lot more hard work than naturals. But it was worth it.

Jade looks up from Summer's question and says,"Eh, Sunday, no schedule, oh and new training process, T.O.U.G.H., train and stuff. I wasn't chosen to be in T.O.U.G.H., BUT EVERYONE ELSE WAS. Well, except for Raven, she's being a little nuisance about it."

Summer nodded. "Aw, that's a shame. You would have been good for it....do you want me to see if I can pull some strings?" Summer wanted to make sure that Jade could come.

Jade laughed. "They didn't choose me because they already chose me to be the communicator through missions."

Then Jade said bye and left to her dorm. She checked on her Moon Lace. And Jade was really happy when she saw it was ready to be harvested. She quickly and delicately trimmed 2 feet of it, leaving enough to keep growing, and took out her torn bow. She remembered how she ripped it, furious because it was rough with nettles and needles, and it speared a cut into her hand. So Jade ripped it out, tearing her bow. Jade also remembered screaming into her pillow, yelling,"My parents don't care!" But now, Jade is completely calm about it, pushing a lock of hair out of her face, she wrapped the Moon Lace around her bow, locking it in place. She knew that since she raised it from what her ancestors wrote, it would never die.

Riley was sitting alone in the library- Kuro was out with Raven. One question was bothering him; how were they going to get everyone out? Did it really matter? He flipped a coin. Tails. He, of course, would survive IoD. He flipped it again. Heads. But Kuro wouldn't.

Summer prances around campus and imagined setting things on fire. She was in pure bliss. She couldn't explain it, she didn't know why she was so happy, but then Summer knew the reason. She grinned and set a sign on fire. Her powers were working again. She leaped over the fence separating her from the city and walked down the street, grabbed a cheeseburger from a nearby restaurant, and returned to her dorm. "Ah, its so good to have my powers...." Summer cooed and started reading her book.

Tricia strode flustered into the library. Her head was swimming with math, and she had been failing in all of her other classes because of the Algebra she was trying to teach herself. She paused when she saw a boy quietly flipping a coin. "Excuse me, can you tell me where I can return my textbook?" Tricia asked the boy.

Tricia frowned and looked at the coin, and then dropped her book off. The boy seemed very absorbed int he piece of money. Tricia wondered what his power was. It wouldn't hurt to ask. "Sorry to bother you again, but what's your power" Tricia asked sheepishly.

Tricia laughed. "Yeah, the first time I saw her, I thought that the other teachers were showing off the worlds largest potato. I don't really think that the classes in this school are very informative or constructive, I mean, most kids are just discovering their powers on their own."
