Clara fired shots around the room, trashing the office. Catcher was hoarding all of the roogle pins he could salvage and he stuffed them into the cubbyhole he was leaning on. He cringed. "Crysa...the balm." he asked. She tossed the small can to him and continued dodging her mother's attacks. Summer's fireballs evaporated when they made contact with the beams. She panted. Using her powers was physically draining.

**Few Months ago**

A scream loud enough the break a window filled the hallways of the facility.
A girl struggled against her bindings, yelling and cussing.
Two scientists tried to hold her down a sediate her.
The girls usually link pink eyes glowed red, and the scientists started to strangle each other.
A third scientist stared at the girl in horror.
The girl grinned as her eyes glowed royal blue, and the scientist started to use a broken shard of glass to cut himself.
Finally, a forth scietist stabbed her with a seditate shot, and the girl strugled for awhile before passing out.
The other three scientists went back to normal, with only minor injuries.
They looked at each other, knowing this girl was too powerful to remain that way.
They had to run some tests.

Crysa snapped her fingers. "Aaah, umm, oh! Yes! She was never good at sudoku. Or crossword puzzles. And bananas make her constipated. But if she stops shooting after a long barrage like this, she's stunned and she cantnuse her powers. Try to hit her with something and get her to stop!" Crysa said.

^ I ran towards that lady and whipped my leg around, aiming to crush her ribs. Unfortunately, I was forced to change course and kick a steel bar instead because of her stupid bothersome energy blasts. The steel bar was bent and then busted through. I tumbled out of reach of some more blasts. Then Clara looked at me. She had a sad look in her eyes. "Why do you want to kill me? I'm just a poor old lady. My daughter has turned against me, and that girl over there-" she pointed to Tricia- "is manipulating you to make you kill me." A tear rolled down her face.

"You're right." I growled. I galloped towards Tricia. How could I have not seen that? ^

~ Everything seemed like it happened at super-speed, except that I was moving in molasses. Mike charged at me, and a barely had time to yell out an exclamation before he was upon me. Then everything slowed down until Mike was moving like a snail, and I felt frozen. Mike's face was saturated with rage, and suddenly all I could see was his fist. My eye's widened, and then it was black, then red. I felt myself flying through the air- it was back to normal time- and I hit the ground hard. More bruises.

I opened my mouth to question, and a sharp pain seared through my jaw. I touched it gingerly. Wow. If Mike could actually get a-hold of Clara, he could do major damage. He had broken my jaw and created numerous cuts inside and outside my mouth. Ughh. I assumed that Clara was controlling him. ~

Annabell ran to Tricia, and became visable, helping her.

I rushed over to Tricia and knelt down. "Tricia! I'm sorry, that lady is a big pain in the @ss!" My eyebrows crushed down on my eyes in concern, and then I resumed my attempts to hit Ms. Banana Constipation. ^

~ "Tha-thanks." I said quietly, trying not to use my jaw too much. "We need to find a way to stop her blasting. She'll be stunned." ~
