Me and Riley exchanged a glance. Jewelry now rendered powers ineffective? Just have to hope it won't become a new trend. If the worst came to the worst, I'd have to deal with her. Thinking about dealing with things... I had bigger problems when I got back. "We should start walking." I said loudly. "Let's go!"

Summer walked along with the others. She had noticed her a while ago, but she didn't talk to her. She seemed to be on her own, not with the group. The others were whispering about her. Summer was about to talk to her, when Catcher did instead.

I mean, we'd arrive faster." she sighed and took an energy bar out of her backpack. She inhaled it and started building a fire. Summer rubbed her hands together and set the wood on fire. @trish I need a scene, then anytime. Though what we are going to do while walking, beats me 😋

Me and Riley watched as everyone went slowly to sleep, then walked a fair distance away from the camp. I could finally relax. Riley looked at me.
*You don't think you can hold it up much longer when we get back.* In my head.
I shook my head slowly.
*You said you could indefinitely,* he accused me.
*Raven. She'll see through me eventually.* I sighed and toyed with my hair. Black was such a dreary colour.
*You'll have to tell her the truth.* He was right. Everything about me was a lie. Well, most things. But that's just who I am.
It was nice being able to be myself sometimes. I could tell Riley felt a lot better, too, not having to keep up mental barriers against Jade. *Let's get some sleep.*
