Has anyone ever gotten banned for stealing on side accounts?

Do the mods have any way of knowing? Because once, I accidentally stole on my side...☹️

I dont think you'll get banned over one accident. Im pretty sure they can, well at least Ian can, he can check your IP if anyone is suspicious of anyone. And yes. I think someone had over 150 side account awhile ago and got banned for it. Not sure if he/she was stealing from the sides, but Im guessing he/she was.

There is a method to tell, yes. No worries though -- we totally understand accidents happen and all that. Only in extreme cases do we apply disciplinary actions, such as the one mentioned above. In any case, we'd never ban an account for cave abuse without issuing a warning first. 😉

In short, we do know (and about side accounts too) but it's usually not a big deal. We do appreciate honesty! 😸

sometimes i have to steal a cave egg from my side, for trasfeering....i fell so guilty for it.... D:

@glados: Yup, Im not going to say the username, well I probably could since it was talked about on a blog by Ian and few other people. Thats how I found out.

No, it's not allowed, I don't think you'll get in very big trouble though, especially since you're a newbie 😊 And like Zac said, you don't get banned without warning. In the rules it says you can only steal eggs on your main account, it used to be only 10 eggs a day altogether, but now it's like that. So you should probably steal only from your main from now on...

Correct! So just try not to steal from sides and you won't get banned.
