Reno noticed the crowd from yesterday gathering in the square. He stood and watched them, at a safe distance.

Sylvua seemed to read Kennedys mind. "We'll show you then you try.", Sylvia took out a knife from her belt then looked up quickly and threw it at Kennedy. "Think Fast!", she yeleld.

"Think Fast! Sylvia yelled, and threw a knife at him. Kennedy reached up his arm to catch it...

...The next thing he knew, he was lying on the ground, surrounded by blood. He tried to move his hand, but he couldn't. Then he noticed his hand lying a few feet away. Kennedy groaned and fell unconscious.

@bunnyshadow Thanks a lot, now his hand got cut off.

Sylvia gasped. She quickly ran over and grabbed Kennedys severed hand . She stuck it to the stump of his arm , then took a towel from he bag. She wiped up the blood and pulled out some black powder. She poured a handful on both parts and commence re stitching his hand together with a needle. When it looked almost fine, 15 minutes later. She said a few words, unrecognizable in any language under her breathe and the hand reconnected but still with a scar.

Sylvia was a healer. She moved here when she was 10 by herself and they neve knew where she came from.

@bunnyshadow Aww, I just planned out a whole plot with Kennedy missing his hand, and you just ruined it! Thanks for fixing it though.

Kennedy awoke to a crowd of people standing around him. "What happened?" He asked.

Your scar will go away soon..", Sylvia stood up to the crowd and said "It is my bad that his hNd has been severed. But will also be my fault that it has healed", She announced.

Kennedy looked at his hand to see only a faint scar. He decided to forgive Silvia. He smiled up at her. Maybe she really did care about him.

"Oh. Well, you didn't have to do anything for me." Kennedy said sadly. I guess she had never liked him. He pushed out of the crowd to look for a place to cry in peace. He had been trying to make friends since he learned that he was going to be in the competition, and now he was friendless again.

Sylvia watched as kennedy started walking away. Her face softened at the thought of hurting his feelings. Syl is may be mean, but she cant stand hurting nice people. She followed Kennedy from the shadows.

@bunnyshadow Sorry. I can't help it. It's your fault for being so mean to him.

Kennedy ran for a dark corner and sat down, sobbing. He would probably get killed on the first day. And it would probably be by Sylvia. He had spent most of yesterday trying to be nice to her, and she responded with anger and ignoring. He had just had enough. He resolved to just stay in the corner until everyone had left the square. Then when he was in the islands, he wouldn't even try to fight. He was a failure at life.

Sylvia was hiding behind a tree.(you know in those movies when someones stalkig someone else then they start crying and the person sticks their head out and looks st the crying person with a sad look? xP) Sylvia stepped out of her hiding place and looked down at Kennedy with a blank face but her eyea showed a sad war fighting inside of them. She waited for him to notice her and a single tear fell to the ground, making a small plop sound.

Kennedy finally sensed that someone was behind him and turned around. Sylvia's head zipped back behind a tree. "Oh. It's you. What do you want? I thought we didn't owe each other anything anymore."

"It's fine. Don't you have other friends to go hang out with? You can just leave me like you were doing all of yesterday. I'm sure you have somewhere else to be that's more important than talking to me." Kennedy knew that he sounded bitter, but he didn't care. He realized now that it was time to grow up. He couldn't be nice to everyone. Or give people 10th chances.

Sylvia looked genuinely sad. "Sorry.", Sylvia said again. A wind blew from behind her and her hair flew into her face formind a veil just as a tear fell from her eye.
