Reno brought down a big bin filled with his drawings. He flipped through them. He guessed he had talent. Of course, that talent wouldn't help him in the islands.

"IMPORTANT BROADCAST. ALL CITIZENS MUST LISTEN. ALL COMPETITORS OF THE COMPETITION OF THE ISLANDS MUST MEET IN THE TOWN SQUARE AT ONCE. BROADCAST COMPLETE."

Sylvia heard an intercom. She quickly brushed her hwir and fixed her make up. Then she grabbed her Two daggers. They were given to her by her father. The daggers were silver with a saphireS encrusted in the black pommel.

Reno heard the message on the intercom. He grabbed a pencil and a pad of paper. He didn't want to deal with good-byes, so he swung out of the window and started walking towards the square.

Sylvia put her daggers in a sheath and put one in each of her boots. She left a note on a table saying "Bye mom. Bye dad. I'll be going. Wish me luck.😊"

Kennedy heard the announcement and tried to breathe slowly. In, out. In, out. "I guess this is it, huh?" He asked his parents. "We'll be cheering for you Kennedy." His mom said. "I know." Kennedy hugged his parents tightly. Soon all three of them were crying.

Kennedy said his last goodbyes to his parents, then walked to the square. He only saw one other person there. He approached her. It would be nice if he could make a friend before the games started. "Hi, my name's Kennedy. I guess you got chosen too, huh?"

Sylvia arrived at the town square, her purple bangs covering both her eyes as a slight breeze wafted through the area. She saw two other people in the square, her thoughts already wandering on how to kill them.

Kennedy didn't notice that the Silic probably wanted to be left alone. He saw another girl enter and dragged her over to the group. "Hi! My name's Kennedy, and this is Silic." He was already thinking of how maybe they could work together in the competition.

Sylvia's eyes flashed with annoyance for a split second. Then tey brightened up with happyness. Sylvia had a plan, work together with as much people as possible thn pick thm off when there unsuspecting. "Hi!", Sylvia said as cheerfully as she could.
