They may look the same, but they're different. I made a kind-of bad decision the other day by trading an '09 florn for an '11 florn, but I don't care. I want a first stage more than last. 😋Anyways, people do care about dates. @deannablanco3 it's not just about the looks. Well, for some...That's why I told you that you should care about dates a long time ago. xD
Excuse me people, but if nobody has realized yet, but A creature is only Worth what YOU make it to be worth. If people with the same creature posted "Oh, I want one cc pet." they're worth one cc pet. If everyone says "I ant an onny" they're worth onnies.

No they aren't if you click there profile. It says 2009 instead of 2011 as soon as someone clicks that egg they realize "oh that person got a release egg the easy way instead of working hard to trade for an 09 creature." I don't think u understand because your only a couple months old on eggcave, but when those creatures first came out in 09 everybody loved them! But there wasn't really that much trading....

Orginials are technically worth more, but it doesn't matter that much.Same with balorgs or kinumps. You may try to make it look like it matters; but honestly a balrog is a balrog and a kinump is a kinump. 😊Eventually it will come to be worth the same and we will realize that. Same with what we did for balrogs. One day eggs are rare no matter how you put it, they are kinda equal except for the age. And that will be fixed some day also.Just hold on to your eggs, don't let them hatch or die and see where this goes 😃

@deannablanco3 It's a date, it matter, deanna. You don't have to go yelling at people and be opinionated. Everyone has an opinion on it, and I agree with @iridescent a bit, because that it true. However, there were more released in 2011, and that was a re-release. The originals are always worth more.. well, in most cases.

You don't have to scream at other members. We all have our opinions. You shouldn't scream at other members because yours is different. You think it is worth more, and I don't, but you don't have to be rude about it.

@Deannablanco3We are FREAKING thinking about it. Most of us explain with meaning and 2-4 freaking paragraphs. You are the one only saying that it angers you to no end and they look exactly the same. Only half of that matters right now, but only half of that is 5 words. 5 words compared to about 30-50. I think we are thinking more than you.

@Deannablanco3Well, it seems to me. Ranting needs opionions. Doesn't look like anyone likes it. It seems that they want to mark their opionions and get it down, so people know how to trade.

@deannablanco3 oh darn, I missed it.... ☹️ But I think date doesn't matter... sometimes. I'm collecting Breyer horses, and if Breyer re-release some old horses (absolutely same) again, I would love to get them, but I would pick the old ones, if I had a chance. But in this case, I think pixels are pixels, old or new are the same, cute, lovely... I don't see difference. I would love to get 09 as same as 11, but I don't have anything, so I guess it doesn't count 😃

@deannablanco3 A peeturk, is wrong. An alien egg is right to trade for a 2011.But you MUST look at it from both sides, first of all most 2009's are grown-up, immortal, or frozen. They are worth more already due to that. But also, the fact that someone had to have received that egg (usually by quitting users or trades) from someone else who worked hard or get it them selves.Back then, you couldn't see what egg you were stealing. It was totally luck. 2009s are just the way of oldies still having something special; something that we worked hard for because we don't want it to be worth nothing now.Look at it that way. I worked x2 harder than ANY newbie to get my 2009s. If they were worth nothing, I would be crushed.

The fact of the matter is, it is the same creature as before. Dates are simply dates; the creature is still the creature it always has been, whether or not it was re-released. To be honest, I don't believe the amount of "effort" put into trading for these creatures matters at all. Life's tough; people will throw monkey wrenches into the mix and make life difficult for you and easier for others. Everyone needs to realize this and get over it. Complaining about how long it took you to trade for a 2009 Foo and that it is a personal insult that Ian re-relreased them is not going to undo what happened. People can be insulted if they want to be. When it all comes down to it, they're just pixels---they aren't worth the tantrums people are throwing over them.

People should have something that represents thier hard work and dedication, a thing that separates the free from them. The dates represent that.Would it be fair for people to get to trade free things for that price? Not to me.

I'm having a deja vu moment,Anyone from Neopets remember the whole 'accidental' releasment on the Draiks on Draik day?The same thing happened on there.All those who had gotten a free Draik went overboard asking for so much, those who were looking for Draiks refused to trade with the ones that were created that day, because they didn't have the same value.
