The Story of Lauri
By Linpug and Ladybugheart

"Oww!" yelled Lauri. "This dress collar is so tight," she said, wheezing to her stepmother. Lauri's family was very wealthy, but that didn't mean she got anything she wanted. Lauri wanted to be modern, more like other girls. On the other hand, her mother wanted her to be elegant and proper.

"What are these?" Lauri shrieked. "PUFFY SLEEVES? OMG OMG OMG. I AM NOT A PRINCESS."

Her mother sneered. "No, you aren't, but you'll have to act like one."

"Hey," her stepsister, Elizabeth, chimed in. "At least you get to go to the prom."

"Stay out of this," Lauri said bitterly. "There is no way I am wearing this thing." She reached for her Lucky Brand jeans and headed into the dressing room.

The hours passed as fast as lightning. There was so much to do before the prom! Lauri had her jeans and a fashionable T-shirt on. They were her only normal clothes, which she had received as a gift. The rest of her closet was filled with frilly dresses, skirts, and blouses.

"Mother says you can't go to the prom like that!" Elizabeth sneered. Lauri suddenly stopped. "You're going to have to wear the dress. AND these high-heeled shoes made of glass."

"CRUD!" Lauri moaned.

"OMG Lauri! Go to your room!" her stepmother exclaimed.

"Which one? I have eight!" Lauri replied.

"The DUNGEON one!"

Lauri shuffled off into her smallest room.

"Not the EXTRA ROOM! The DUNGEON!"

A trap door opened and she fell though the hardwood floor, landing harshly in a room she never knew existed.

"Yo, bub!" exclaimed a mouse.

"OMG! I must be a witch!" she backed up on the wall, despite the fact the creature wasn't even as large as her hand.

The creature sighed. "You ain't no witch!" With a flurry of sparkles, it transformed into an ancient lady. "OMG, I'm oooold!" She started coughing. "Asthma ataaack!"

The sparkles returned, surrounding the both of them. A beautiful lady, with rosy wings and an elegant dress, appeared.

"OMG? Mother!" Lauri exclaimed. "I never knew you were actually a mouse!"

She sighed. "Have the others left yet?" she said with a sparkle in her eye.

"No, I don't think so."

"Then what are you waiting for? ESCAPE!"

~Act One~

*Skittle, a Tine, is dragging a small machine in a wagon, that is covered with a blanke, holding the rope in her moutht*
Lucen the Luvlei: *Flys over* "Hey Skitts, what's that?"
Skittle: "Hmm? Oh," *Spits out the rope* "This is a time machine I brought at an Aution! 😸"
Lucen: "WOW! A TIME MACHINE!" *Glomps covered object* "You probley had to spend ALOT of EC! Did you steal it from Taffy's account, like I do?"
Skittle: "No, I traded it for our Goldox. He's blind, he didn't know what was going on."
Lucen: "You traded...Stream? To who.....?"
Skittle: *Waves paw dissmissvily* "Some type of labor-work camp thingy. It's not important."
Lucen: "Yep. 😃 So, what EXACTLY are we going to do with this Time Machine...? I KNOW, LETS GO BACK IN TINE TO WHERE THEY INVENTED CUPCAKES! 8D *Glomps Skittles head* "It'll be FUN! ❤️"
Skittle: *Coughs* "WE? WE?"
Lucen: ("Haha, she said "Wewe" XD)
Skittle: *Continues* "/I/ am going to go back in time to stop VALENTINES DAY from ever HAPPENING! D:< AND NOTHING, REPEAT, NOTHING, WE GET IN MY WAY!!! *Thunder cracks* MAHAHAHAHA, MAHAHAHA, MAHAHA, *cough,cough* "MAHAHA-"
Saffire the Gobbler: "Hey, Chef just finished making diner!"
Skittle: "Oh, i'm hungry! 8D *Flys to go eat*
Lucen: "CUPCAKES! 8D" *follows*
*I, Kelly/Taffy789, return home*
Me: "Huh? *Picks up the small time machine*
What is this- AHH! *Gets sucked into a time vortex*

Lauri's eyes grew wide, and she gave a nod. Silently, she grabbed onto the bars of the cell and inched up. She poked the ceiling.

Everything collapsed.

Lauri dug herself out of the mess. "I guess that didn?t work!" her mother said, dusting herself off.

"OMG, my clothes!!! How am I going to escape and go to the prom?!"

However, her mother was gone.

Lauri started to cry. After a few minutes, she got up and decided she would go, even though her clothes were torn. That was the new fashion, right? Lauri sighed. Not for the prom, it wasn't. Even so, she climbed up on what used to be the ceiling and made an attempt to get out of there. However, from the corner of her eye, she saw a sparkle of sky blue. "OMG..." she gasped. It was a beautiful dress, looking as if it were part of the afternoon sky. It looked modern, too. She grabbed the lovely dress and ran.

Lauri modeled in front of the mirror-in her stepmother's room. This dress was the one for her! It was a short, strapless dress that was a mixture of sparkly sky blues. She hoped it wasn't too late to go to the prom!

Lastly, she cut off her long, brown ponytail. She cackled evilly. It didn't matter what happened anymore. She tied it in a knot, kissed it goodbye, and threw it out the window for the people passing by her house. She heard someone outside shouting, "OMG! HAIR!" and Lauri started rolling on the floor laughing. She grabbed her hang glider (she had been hiding it for many years) and leaped out the window of her four-story house.

Outside, her sisters peeked out the window of their limo and saw her. "OMG! Who is that weird, out of style girl in the sky?!?!? Isabelle shouted. To make things better, Lauri pulled something out of her pocket-a pig. She strapped a parachute to it and let go. "I'll be a modern girl when pigs fly!" she shouted to all those who were listening, and flew off.

Poem about Eggcave on Christmas

Tons of them crowded the cave,
A few prath eggs here, a few engels there,
Then someone came and the eggs are all gone.
Another person came and gasped in surprise,
As right in front of her was a dearest foo egg,
She walked out of the cave with her spirits high and a foo tucked in her arms.
A user rushed into the cave,but seeing no foo he went out sadly,
A friend with a extra foo saw his sad face,
And immediately the extra foo was his.
And so on Christmas everyone was happy~ !xD

She swooped down to the prom. There was no hang glider parking, so Lauri landed swiftly on the roof and leaped down like a skilled ninja. She walked in as if she were modeling the latest fashion, smiling with a sparkle in her hazel eyes.

Lauri loved her new dress. Her sisters, on the other hand, were having trouble moving with their frilly, puffy dresses and tripped when dancing.

The prom king romantically strolled across the red carpet, which was embroidered with gold. His suit top was blue, and his pants were a midnight black. His hair was a deep brown. Everyone had stepped aside-everyone except for Lauri, who stood frozen with wide eyes. "OMG..." Lauri breathed. The prom king gracefully took her hand in his. "May I have this dance...?" he asked with a bow. Lauri paused and everyone was silent. She curtsied.

"YEAH DUDE!" Lauri exclaimed. The dance continued, with Lauri, the prom queen, dancing with Travis, the prom king. Some of their favorite songs they danced to were Thriller, White Destiny, and Love is Fire.

"No fair!" Elizabeth exclaimed. "Why does she get to dance with the prom king?" Elizabeth and Isabelle still didn't have a dance partner. Lauri, whom they didn't recognize, was dancing her heart away with her cool moves. "Let's go get some punch," Isabelle suggested. However, their drinks spilled all over their new, expensive, out of style dresses.

Elizabeth and Isabelle walked out of the prom and disgustedly hurried to the limo. Meanwhile, Lauri realized Travis was gone. /OMG, where is he?/ Lauri thought. Just then, she heard a faint echo of his voice. She poked the throne Travis was sitting on earlier. A trap door! She opened it, looked around suspiciously, and crawled inside.

There, a small army of displeased hobbits attacked Lauri, with Voldemort leading them all. But Lauri had read Harry Potter and had watched Lord of the Rings back when she was little, with her real mother and father. She had a few spells up her sleeve, too. "Orchideous!" she shouted, and beautiful blooming flowers surrounded them all. "Oops... wrong spell. Tatantallegra!" Voldemort and the Hobbits started dancing. More specifically, they were dancing the Thriller dance, with Voldemort leading them. "Have fun dancing at the prom!" Lauri laughed, and went to find Travis.

*After dinner*
Skittle: "Man, i'm stuffed. ❤️ Now, TO DESTORY ALL THE LOVE IN THE WORLD! >8D"
*Notices the Time Machine is gone*
Skittle: "D:< WHAT. HAPPENED." *Turns to Lucen* "YOU ATE IT, DIDN'T YOU!!!???!!" *Comes at him with her sharp claws*
Lucen: "NO, NO! D: This is the one time I DIDN'T EAT SOMETHING IMPORTANT! NO! That's VITAL! NO!"
Smores: "Nope, Lucen didn't eat it. Skittle, stop trying to kill our Luvlei before we have to call the police again. T_T"
Skittle: *Looks at the Obarn* "Then what happened to my Time Machine?"
Smores: "You see, I saw Taffy be transported into the past a few hours ago.."
Skittle: "And you're just NOW telling me this?"
Smores: *Shrug* "Chef made poataoe salad.."
Skittle: "Hmm, we have to acquire a SECOND time machine in order to go back in time to rescue Taffy, and stop her from messing up the flow of time! D:<"
Saffire: "More than YOU were trying to? T_T"
Skittle: "EXACTLY! Now, let's go back to that Auction Place I found the first time Machine at! D:<"

~~12 million years ago~~
Me: "Ouch. I think I hit my head..... Wait, what's that sound?"
*Thump. Thump. Footsteps appoarching*

Lauri peeked around the corner, seeing Snape was holding Travis captive. "OMG!" she exclaimed. Just then, Dumbledore swung in on a rope like Tarzan and was screaming wildly. "Stupefy!" he shouted, his wand pointed at Snape. As Dumbledore swung past Snape, his wand smashed into him. Snape fainted. "I guess you didn't need that spell to knock him out!" Lauri giggled. "Can I have your autograph on my wand?" she asked.

"Eh..." replied Dumbledore. "My full name is kind of long."

"Can't you use some sort of spell?" Lauri asked. Dumbledore thought for a moment. "Copyeth Pasteth!" he shouted. The words "Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledor" were engraved in her wand. "Thanks!" Lauri replied, and ran over to Travis. "Come on!" she exclaimed, punching a hole in the trap door and leading him out.
