Random Death Note Fan Story

Light chuckled maliciously as he locked the door behind him with a satisfying click. He sauntered to his quiet desk, grasping a ballpoint pen and sliding out the slender ink cartridge. Light opened his drawer, revealing a heavy book marked "Diary" containing records of his daily life. /The real secret is here/ he smirked, inserting the cartridge into a hole under the drawer, lifting the false bottom. He cautiously removed a thin, black notebook with the words "Death Note" scrawled over the cover. /I am Kira. I am justice!/

The end. 8D Hope you enjoyed my random story. Now, let's have a word with each of the characters, including Matt, the extremely minor character who barely got a name in the series.

Light: I'll take a potato chip... AND EAT IT!!! *potato chip sparkles in sunlight*
L: I've discovered that as long as you burn calories by using your brain, you won't get fat even if you eat sweets.

Lightning's Tale

I wanted to live, I wanted to continue on with my life, but now, what did I have to live for? Would this storm take not only my family?s life, but my own life as well? I couldn?t help but wonder if that was how people thought when they were about to die.
I wanted to scream. I wanted to cry. I wanted to shout. But I sat there, in the middle of the rain-slick street, sobbing. My eyes burned and I was freezing, but I couldn't go anywhere. My family was dead, and I had nowhere to go. Katryna Song, orphan. Funny thing about my name now that I had thought about it- my family was killed by a storm and my extended family had all died in Hurricane Katrina.
"Why me?" I screamed, and thunder crackled. A bolt of lightning came down onto a nearby tree and I shrieked. It was like God, or whoever was controlling this destruction, was trying to make my life as miserable as possible, and succeeding too.
Shallow puddles littered the road, reminding me of times as a child, when I would stomp around joyfully, unaware of the despair and disease that spread throughout the world. I stomped in a nearby puddle, water splashing up in my face. But what did I just see? Tiny strands of electricity ran throughout the puddle I stomped in before fading away.
"No... no... I'm a freak too? What more do you want to do to me?" I shouted at the sky, tears mixing with the dirt and rain that streaked my face.
