Description of the Valley of Rivers

The Valley of Rivers is a beautiful valley, filled with sweet primroses, bluebells, daffodils, lupines, foxgloves, daisies and many other flowers. They make the valley bright and colorful, as if you are walking through a rainbow. The Valley of Rivers has 2 river, The Butterfly River and The Ribbon River. Both are absolutely stunning. The Butterfly River, as you may guess, is the home to more than one million butterflies. The color of the fresh water is a beautiful, indescribable turquoise color. A color that makes your eyes pop and your legs wobble. A color that shone like the shiniest sapphire. The butterflies made the scene more amazing, as they flutter past and play with you. The Ribbon River is an amazing lavender color, and is as thin and long as a ribbon. Herds of shaibun go to the Ribbon River to sleep in the shade of the willow trees, that provide a comfortable place to lean on and a nice shade from the afternoon sun. The river matches a Shaibun's ribbon perfectly, and many think that is why the shaibuns like it so much. Overall, the whole valley is a stunning, beautiful place to visit. It is amazing rain or shine, in fog or in snow.

Floating
Laughing
Glinting
Popping
Gathering in the bottom of my sink
Rushing out of the wand
Dancing
Rushing
Sticking
Popping
Attaching to each other
Landing on me
Gathering
Attaching
Landing
Popping
Drifting in the breeze
Flying past my face
Drifting
Flying
Soaring
Popping
A light pop sounds and soap sprays as you try to touch their fragile skin.

This is one called Fire.

Cackling with rage
Spitting with fury
Hissing with anger
Sparks fly out of the pit
Embers shower, candles lit
Matches struck against their box
Seems to dance, I'm lost in thought
Staring at the flames so bright
Glowing in the dead of night.

How do I know that I am not a Butterfly dreaming that I am a Man?

I dream of cars
Of concrete trees
Of neon stars
That line the street
I dream of lines
White on black
And wire vines
Over asphalt tracks

But when I wake
I see the leaves
The high held branches
Upon the trees
I see the sun
The moon, the stars
The velvet petals wide and far

I feel my wings
On my back
I feel the wind
Push me on track
I feel the forces
Moving me
And then I feel
The world of dreams

Lightning's Tale

The midnight sky was littered with thick, bloated, black storm clouds. Mom's car swerved, the tires screeching against the slick black road. Droplets of rain splashed up against the window, obscuring our view of everything outside the car. It all happened too quickly. I could see that pole coming towards us, and then my screams were muffled by the airbags. I pushed them aside and squirmed out from underneath them.
"Mom? Kylie? Matt?"
I shouted into the fog, my voice frantic and quavering. My vision was blurring, becoming clear and then hazy again, like a mist, determined to hide the massacre from me. I could only see the red streaming so quickly, there was so much, too much. I had to get out of that car. I had to escape.
I opened the door and ran out into the street, my hair soaking wet and sticking to my flushed cheeks.
?Help, please, anybody, help us!? I cried out, and the rain hammered even harder against my skin. Was rain red? No, it was blood rain, their blood, the blood that flowed from their egregious wounds, enveloping me in their rage, like the blood in the car I was trying to escape from.
Thunder rumbled in the distance, and I could see a flash of lightning, blinding me. Electricity coursed through my veins, my blood boiling and burning me from the inside out. I could only think about the energy that was causing this, a maelstrom of pain and fear.

Silic felt the syringe be inserted into her. "Yes, a new hybrid between--" The man was cut off. "Sir! The liquid we used was false!" "What!?" "I'm afraid that's the last of experiment 07" Silic looked around. She breathed softly through her nose, for she was gagged with duct tape. She recognize the 'master'. Her eyes dart around. Her lungs started to close as the oxygen airway became smaller. She struggled on the straps holding her down against the cold stretcher. 'What's happening?' She thought. "Hold the subject down! She's going crazy!" She heard. She found herself breathing heavily, but unable to draw oxygen. Doctors swarmed her as her breath shortened. 'What--' Her thought were cut off, as her brain stopped, and shut down.
