How old is Drake?
And also can our characters, like, develop mutations on their own by accident if they are not very powerful or major? Or have, like, secret mutations or something?

Jo joined Kris and Drake on the roof. She stared into the stars, thinking hard. Finally, she said "Drake, do you know anyone who knew my clone? Or... at least SEEN my clone?" She felt somewhat ... alone, with Drake and Kris sharing stories about Lisa.

@rawrcookies08 Drake is supposed to be in his twenties, probably like, 25, and they only mutate when too much power is used.

"Yes, actually I recall seeing your clone, but you're not going to like her... It's Alice. The overseer you saw before. She didn't want to be recognized, so she dyes her hair black. She's the only overseer that isn't a clone, she is skilled in many martial arts."

Once he was out of hearing, Claria whined, "We're all gonna die! I'll never see my sister, alive again, I guess.."

@takatheeducatedkid I thought he was around that age 😊 About the mutations thing, I meant like having new powers or abilities if they are not story ruiners.

Jo looked at Drake sadly. "Oh. Well she didn't seem to notice that I was her. And I didn't notice that she was me." She shook her head. "I can't even believe that I didn't recognize MYSELF! I'll be right back." She climbed down to the window and walked into the bathroom. "I just can't believe it. Of course MY clone has to be the bad one. Kris has all the luck." Jo thought and stared at herself in the mirror. It had been the first time in years. She noticed her usually sleek red hair was tangled and she had gotten taller. Her nose had little freckles. She looked older. "I didn't recognize myself," Jo thought, "Because that WASN'T me. But it was. With black hair." She pushed a brush through her hair to make it look better, then went and sat on her bed, thinking about being Alice.

Kyra blinked as the image of Markus disapeared. She had been seeing imaginary things a lot lately. She let her plants guide her, to the spot where her group met with Claria. They needed to get going in the morning.

Claria saw a figure come out of the darkness, she stood in front of Claria. It was Alice, she had probably come from the fight with Drake, because she looked a little in pain. "The winged man. Where did he go?" She asked pulling her sword out.

Kris got ready to get to bed. Drake looked at Jo and noticed she seemed kind of dismal. "You know, you shouldn't be so hard on yourself, after all, she is not you. You, are your own person."

"So, how did Alice have a different power than Jo?" Asked Kris. "I mean, they have the same DNA so doesn't that mean they should have the same power?"

"She does, but there was a test once, and she was the only survivor, I'm guessing it's somehow because she isn't a clone. Therefore she has the ability to teleport and use fire. Problem is, she'll mutate a lot faster that way." Drake answered.

"Wow, where do you learn all this stuff?" Kris asked laughing.
"Around." Drake answered. He sat down in a chair and closed his eyes.

@takatheeducatedkid so can they develop more abilities? (I have a good idea for another ability thing for Jo).

"Do you want the bed tonight?" Jo asked Drake. She thought he might want to sleep in a place made for sleeping. "I can take the floor, I'm used to sleeping on a floor. Our cells weren't exactly luxury suites." Kris nodded. "Which state are we in, anyway? I hope it's near California. I've always wanted to go there, you know, with all the movie stars and stuff." Jo turned on the TV. Two people were running through a city. "See? I bet they're in California right now." The people ran under a sign that said, 'Los Angeles: 25 miles.' "Yep! I knew it. If we don't get there before we defeat the EPC, let's go after. And have a party." She realized that she had gone totally off the subject. "Sorry. Just thinking." She said.

"You know me? I'd ask how but I fathom a guess Marcus told you just about everything. I tell you, he is way too trusting." Alice said as she ran off in that direction. "Thanks!" She yelled back as she ran.

Drake looked at Jo. "I'm fine in the chair, you go ahead and use the bed. Unfortunately we don't have enough time to stop at L.A. until this is all over." He said.

"That kinda stinks. But we should be focusing on the people trying to kill us and stuff." Kris said getting comfy in her bed. She knew they weren't going to get Drake to not put them before himself, so she didn't offer to sleep in the chair instead of him again.

@rawrcookies08 not naturally, it has to be injected into the system, although there is a high chance that it will cause death, because the system rejects it. And the EPC is the only place that can happen right now.

In the morning, they continued on, the day went quickly and the sky was orange as the sun started setting. They reached an old abandoned lab, it had a big open space inside where there was no roof. "I wonder why there's no one here." Kris said, looking at the the orange-red sky. "But there is someone here." They heard someone say. It was a man with short blonde hair, that was sort of spiky in the front. "I'm Don, and I'm VERY pleased to meet you. And so are my friends." He smiled. Military soldiers marched in, with tanks and guns. "Just for safety." Don said. "I'd like to test out my newest creation." "How did we fall into this?" Drake said. "I should have seen it coming..." He scolded himself. "Bring it on!" He said pulling out his knife. "That's the spirit!" Don laughed. He pulled out a strange gun and pointed it at Drake. It beeped for a moment then shot a bullet into his arm, surprisingly, he wasn't fast enough to dodge it. Drake looked at his arm. "No..." He said. "Yes, a mutation bullet. You have only a few moments now, so I just have to sit back and watch the show." Don said, the grin still on his face. "Drake fell to his knees, he was shaking un-controlably. "Kill me, before I mutate..." He said, trembling. "What?" Kris said.

"Drake, no!" Jo screamed. He was the only one who could really help them. "What've you done?!" She screamed at Don. "Oh, I just shot him. He's going to mutate now." He smiled. "No." Jo said. "Fix him. FIX him NOW." She shot fire into his face. "Drake! We're not going to kill you! And don't even try to kill yourself! You're gonna be okay! Me and Kris are gonna help you, soon!" Tears started leaking out of both the girls' eyes.

"B.. Before it's too late..." Drake said. His pupils shrank, then suddenly his eyes flashed blue, he stood up. Bat-like wings ripped out of his back and he let out a loud yell as lightning flashed all over. The mutation was different than normal however, he still had his human form, when Karn had turned into a monster.

"Yes, yes! Show me your anger! Demonstrate to me your strength!" Don yelled. Drake was no longer thinking clearly. He angrily punched at the soldiers, he killed them all, punching right through them all like nothing. Blood was everywhere. Don was laughing maniacally as he watched it all happen from the top of the building.

Kris stood staring at everything going on before her. The anger in Drake's eyes. She found herself afraid of him. But she knew she had to stop him. She ran at him. "Drake! Stop this! I can't take it!" She yelled. Drake punched her away, she landed on the ground, but stood back up. Drake was facing her now, ready to make an attack.

Kris turned invisible. Then she reappeared, she had jumped to Drake, she kissed him, and she hoped with her life it would snap him out of it. The blue eyes filled with fury widened, then faded. Drake went unconscious and fell to the ground. "It... it worked." Thought Kris.

Jo was watching the whole battle. She didn't know what exactly was going on with Drake, but it terrified her. He was killing everyone. She saw him punch Kris, and then she went back. "Kris, NO!" Jo's eyes widened. She KISSED Drake. Whoa. Then he fell, unconsious. She hoped. Not dead. Jo ran to Kris. "C'mon! We've got to get him!" She pointed at Don, then started climbing up the side of the building. "You.. jerk!" She shouted at him. Once she got to the top, she tried to punch him and kick him, but every time she missed. She tried to summon fire, but his power was too strong. Nothing would work. "Help!" She called down to Kris.

Kris left Drake's side and ran to join in. "I don't know how you brought him back to his senses but you'll pay for that." Don said. "He was perfectly insane!" He smiled at the thought. "You know, you're really messed up." Kris said punching at him. Just when Kris thought she couldn't beat him, two people dropped from the sky. it was Alice, and Marcus. "As if this wasn't bad enough." Kris said. "We're not here for you." Alice said, unsheathing her sword. "Don, stop this madness, we need that man alive." Marcus said. Don's smile faded. "I'll do what I want." He said.

They began fighting, it was hard to tell what was going on, it all went so quickly. Soon, Don was on his back, Alice had her sword at his neck. "Marcus get him." Alice said gesturing toward Drake, laying unconscious on the ground. Marcus nodded, then flew down. "No! I won't let you!" Kris said throwing herself at Marcus, pushing him away.

"Kris! Get him!" Jo shouted. She grabbed Drake's arm and started dragging him away to a small room in the corner. She lay him on the ground and blocked the door, setting whoever tried to get past her on fire. Don and Alice passed the door, fighting. She set Don's hair and Alice's sword on fire. "If you're gonna fight, BACK OFF FROM HERE!" Jo screamed. She saw Kris running around trying to help. She tried shooting a long distance flame at Marcus, but she missed and accidentally burned Kris's arm. It couldn't be any less than a third degree burn, because that was a white-hot flame. "KRIS!" She shrieked, as she saw her friend scream in pain. "KRIS!!!" But Jo couldn't leave the doorway. She didn't want either of her friends to die. She gathered all the power she had. Suddenly, 100-foot-long flames engulfed her body, and smothered Marcus. Since Alice and Don were battling, Jo thought they wouldn't be paying attention. But Don and Alice both ran at her, fast. She screamed. "Keep.. holding.. on.." She thought, but the power was too much. She fell to the ground, writhing in pain from all the energy she had used. The doorframe burned, but it wasn't blocking out Alice and Don from Drake. Jo had no way to protect Drake by herself, or herself from Don.

@rawrcookies08 Alice has a sword, not Marcus, and also, Alice was the one fighting Don, not Marcus. xD

EDIT: Another thing, Alice and Marcus are not here to fight Kris and Jo, they are mostly after Drake, and are avoiding fighting Jo and Kris.

Drake opened his eyes and immediately ran out through the flames. "You want me? Come and get me!" He yelled. He ran through the building, Marcus chasing him. Alice was too bust fighting Don to do anything about it. Kris ignored the burn on her arm and ran to Jo. "Just calm down and take a breath, everything will be fine." She said. Even though she said this, Jo could tell she was hiding the fact that she was scared, her eyes said it all.

Don was fed up with dodging sword attacks, he pulled a metal pipe out of a broken area in the wall and molded it into a blade. "So you're the traitors everyone's been talking about." He said. "Not surprising." "You shut up!" Alice yelled, viciously slashing at him with her sword.

Drake was not fully recovered yet, and his wings didn't go away. He was soon outside, where he flew into the air. "What's the matter? Are you scared of me?" He taunted. "Being cautious is all." Marcus answered.

Powers: creates illusions, or changes mood of someone. (illusions are only for example: a big dragon blocking the way while it isn't for real. something like that. not that they get into an illision that may spoil the rp)

Looks: long black hair which reaches just down her lower back. and has ice-blue eyes. she wears a blue-ish clothes but you can't see those very well because a black long coat is covering it. she seems 14 years old but actually is 16
Gender: female
Description: she is a stubborn girl and always act selffish and childish. she is never satisfied and always wants to be first. besides that she mostly acts before she thinks. she likes to use her powers only for her own good. and if she even thinks she may be up to no good. in her point of view the whole world is just one silly game, some elementals may say she already lost sanity, but she didn't because if she did she just graved for more power.
besides all that she has a bloody past and whenever she sees alot of blood she gets into a sort of shock and starts to scream not able to get outta that shock untill the blood is out of her sight.

@shelly508 I'm okay with all but the mood thing. It would kind of be a story wrecker, so, yeah. I hate to ruin your fun, but for the sake of the story you know?

bic// "You have to stay with me!" Kris yelled, her eyes filling with tears. Drake began fighting with Marcus in the air. Alice finally was able to stab Don in the stomach, he fell on the ground, there was no way he'd survive. Alice took the gun from his pocket and ran over to Kris, who wasn't expecting Alice to come and grab her, pointing the gun at her head. "Thunder man! Come here if you don't want me to shoot her!" She yelled. Drake stopped fighting and came down to her, Marcus following cautiously behind. "What do you want from me anyway?" Drake asked. "You mean you don't know?" Marcus asked, stunned. "The cure, it is our goal to be free of mutations, and live normal lives."Alice replied to Drake. Drake broke out into laughter. "Why do you laugh at our goal?" Marcus asked angrily. "It's just that... You could have asked." Drake answered. Alice and Marcus looked at each other. "You mean, we've been fighting you for no reason?" Alice asked. "Exactly." Drake answered. "Problem is, I don't actually HAVE the cure yet." "Wait what?" Marcus asked, surprised. "I'll make you a deal." Drake said. "You help us defeat the father, and I'll help you get cured." Drake offered.
