Bring Eggcave Back!

I know what you mean. I have not been on this website long, but long enough to know that something is not right. People should help newbies and people with very little on their accounts, not boss them around and " use" them just because Rey don't know what to do. Older, more experienced users should share and help newer less expirienced users.

YES. Exactly!! I mean geez!! someone...is gone! and they're arguing about...a pixel!! a very sentimental pixel that was loved by Deanna, but a pixel nevertheless!

and yeah i really didnt like the swear words part...the poor girl didnt even know what a swear word was! D: The 9 year old even stated "Im Scared" on her status cause she didnt know what the words meant.

You know, after taking a much needed nap and reading through all of these comments, I feel inspired to be more active on the new user forum. I'm going to try to be more proactive with newbies and try to greet them as they come in. That is my personal goal this year on Egg Cave. 😊

I know, that is totally right! If a doovoo wasn't rare, would people like it??? No, to me it looks like a bag of maneur, it has stinky wave things above it!! EggCave has turned into the real world, sooo comercialized! Everybody wants RARE EGGS! By the way, I never heard of the Deanna Macbot situation, when was it and what happened?

exactly! but rarity does matter, or else how would we trade? it wouldnt be an accomplishment then, and @skittlejg if the doovoo was common there would still people who want it. lets take a look at the tasma, for example. if it was super rare would everyone want it? YES. but even now, when it is a common cave creature, people hoard it like heck XD

Yeah. More of the old user/peace keepers have quit, leaving Egg Cave to the inexperienced newbies, and now almost everyone is obsessed with the rare creatures, and trading values are way off, because people here just aren't being decent.☹️

When I first joined Egg Cave I saw a Tasma, and I asked someone how rare it was, because I figured that something looking like that would be rare, and they said "Its not rare at all your brain is so crappy you didnt know that" So yeah, I want Egg cabe back too. Ive also noticed people using swear words, Imma be honest, Im ten. Lol but it may seem like I act older, and people say words and call other people words infrount of me, dont swear you never know whose behind the keyboard.

O-O And yeah people only care about Rarity and stuff I wanted a Florn because when I joined on my main all my creatures were Florns and Foos and Roos but I quit so all I wanted was a Florn now :\ But people just care about the rarity what happened to The Old eggcave ??? I remember @Joy she was so nice :'( but she quit

Recently Deanna Passed away :'( And asked her sisters to raffle her macbot and in the end some 9 year old won and people ATTACKED HER WITH SWEAR WORDS IM SERIOUSLY OUTRAGED >☹️ And Im 10 e_e

Mm? I thought that we were told that weren't supposed to talk about Deanna & that incident anymore since it's been dealt with...?
Either way I remember it coming out that she never died & it was some sort of ploy? :/


And about that recent user...
First off, this is the internet. Don't take ANYTHING seriously. Anyone can lie, and who is to say that they aren't?
Second, parents are told that they aren't to name their children something that may hurt the child. They can be stopped from doing so. The user could be lying that her name is actually such.
Another, this is supposed to be a child-friendly site either way. If a parent were to see a username like that, Egg Cave could get in trouble.

That said, I don't support comments that hurt another person like that at all, but I don't see how this has to do with "bringing Egg Cave back"...

Its not fair for people to blame a 9 year old kid for winning something o.o Its just her luck o.o I feel pity for those who did that. Those who did that were heartless and pretty much doesnt deserved anything from others. Its good enough that they were lucky to even be in a raffle. Im sorry to say, This really sound stupid. To argue over a pixel. Especially to a 9 year old kid. God heaven, Where's their dignity. Where's their heart been so? Gone down the drain I guess. Im sorry for being a little bit outraged. Just feeling bad for that poor kid.

I've seen it a couple times... Those events are just here and there though, at least.

But sometimes, I've tried helping newbies but in return, they yell at me and spam my wall with requests that go against the rules D:
Maybe that's what is part of the problem? And then that makes other people act in a mean way to other newbies?


But the raffle thing afterwards... wasn't it because what she did afterwards offended the other users? Like trading the Macbot away? I don't really remember...

I don't think she traded the macbot :\ And I don't think thats the problem you are too nice try to be a little bit harsh on them :\ But other newbies are Nice and Kind ! 😊

Just a thing about the rarity of creatures and such.

Everyone's been saying that they don't care about rarity but we all have to admit that rarity DOES increase a creatures appeal.

Another thing, most of the rare creatures are the good looking ones as well. Probably a trick to make the creature even MORE appealing. CC creatures are usually the more attractive/shiny/colourful creatures.

On another note, this topic is one of MANY nostalgic topics about "wanting the old eggcave back" or "making it like it used to be". In my opinion these topics do not really help "bring eggcave back" at all.

As I have said, there has been plenty of topics like this, but not much change has resulted from the creation of such topics.

I get it, people need to reminisce, but it seems to be turning into a thread for complaining. I think that if you have problems with the "new eggcave" then you should take it up with Ian, through a form or a suggestion thread.

I agree. We need to bring the more pleasant Eggcave back. Back then, people would listen to each other on how to make everything in Eggcave better, when everyone actually cooperated with each other. But recently, all people seem to care about is to make their cove so wonderful and boast about it.

Now, I'm afraid to post things because some people here get ticked off about what other people have to say, and all of a sudden, drama and attacks are erupting.

Do you think that if we all go and search the whole site for anything against the rules, and make a list of suggested rules that could prevent any of them happening, bring the pleasant Eggcave back?

As I heard it the older egg cave is a bit more friendly.
I think my Rosse is much more valued to me then one of those gross voodoo things.

I mean, sure I would like a Macbot and a Doovoo and I would accept if someone gave one to me, but I wouldn't trade my soul for one...
