The New Clans

It is long after the time of Firestar. Long after the time of the Three, who changed the Clans. Those cats are now but half-believed nursery tales told to young kits. It is long after that time, and greatly different.
Once more, the Clans? territory was destroyed. Once more, they made a Journey to a new home. But this time...the land was more diverse. This time, each Clan adapted. They gained powers beyond anything that they once could have dreamed of; and their forms changed as well. Each Clan became so different from what they had once been...that they took different names. ThunderClan became FlameClan; RiverClan became WaveClan; WindClan became CloudClan; and ShadowClan became WraithClan.
FlameClan cats are fiery, and can withstand extreme heat. They control fire. Their usual food is whatever prey they find.
WaveClan cats have fish tails, and can breathe underwater. They control water. Their usual food is fish.
CloudClan cats are made of breezes. They control air. Their usual food is birds.
WraithClan cats are half-shadow, with blazing eyes. They control shadows and darkness, and can enter and control other cats. Their usual food is the life-essence of creatures.

Tidepaw blinked awake and darted over to Bluetail. "Come on, you said we could go hunting today!"
Bluetail yawned, and told his apprentice, "All right, all right. Let's just get some prey from the fresh-kill pile first."
The two swam over and collected a fish each. They enjoyed their meal, then headed out for some hunting.

Bugshell flew down to the nursery where Maskpaw, to his embarrassment, still had to sleep since he couldn't fly. "Hey Maskpaw, wake up."
She gently shook him and he looked up at her. "Oh, hey! I'm Morning Bugshell! What are we doing today? Are you going to take me up to catch more birds?"
"Actually, I had something different planned. I'm going to teach you to hunt ground beasts near Flameclan territory."
"Oh," he said sadly, "Sure."

ShadowClaw was just walking around nere her clan's cave. She thought about a boy named MaskPaw, "They talk about him a lot."

The two cats walked/floated on the land, Maskpaw giving a small sigh. "There Maskpaw," Bugshell said, gesturing toward a rabbit, "Kill it and we can bring it back to the pile."
"No," He whispered, "We're so close to the Calmrock, we may pass into other territory."
"Hey," Bugshell said gently, "They're not going to make fun of you for hunting smaller prey. It's okay Masky."
He sighed and ran towards the rabbit. The feeling of running after it was amazing and he lost his bearings, running into the Wraithclan territory, Bugshell chasing futilely after him.
