I'm using chrome for pc. and if you type <-- , it doesn't turn into anything

I think it does something weird with the arrow symbol, and &gt; is it's symbol code. Like if I post a bunch of symbols they come out weird:

????&#8734;?????

This happens to me when I do an exclamation point. If I write !, a ; goes in front of it.

We apologize for this type of odd functionality. We have a "content cleaner" that strips out and looks for inappropriate and/or malicious words/code. For whatever reason, it causes weird anomalies like this to happen.

Isn't it weird?

so far, it works for --'s and ?'s. I'm going to see if it works for anything else!

I am sure no letters would work.




EDIT: none worked except what we already know! but maybe there are combinations that work...WHATEVER. I am NOT going to do that with ALL the POSSIBLE combinations of symbols!
