Wolves of the forest: will you lead your pack?

Solah yawned and strtched her legs. She felt very thirsty. She trotted down to the brook. When she arrived she sat down and lapped up the cold water. After drinking her fill, Solah stared into the crystal water. She looked at herself, the golden fur, the pale green eyes, the red streaks in her fur. This reminded her of her first pack, all of her family members had red or gold fur. The the forest fire came. A single tear trickled off Solah's cheek and into the water, creating ripples and shattering the image. Solah gave a long, mournful howl to the wolves who had died. 'I should take my mind off of this,' she thought. Solah saw a fish jump and she swiped a paw at it. In a couple tries, she had the trout. This wasn't her first fish, she had learned how to fish when she was very young. Solah got up and trotted back to camp, savoring the fish.

Lily was sleeping 4 a while, then when Solah retuned she woke up. "Hello..My name's Lily...What's your's?" She asked.

Solah looked at the new wolf. "Why hello there. My name is Solah, like solar, but without the r." Solah explained. She saw the delicate bulge of the wolf's belly. "Um, are you expecting a pup?" Solah asked. New pups would be a good experience for little Songbird.

WF heard the sound too....he rushed from where he was and came to find Lily.....Was something wrong???? Will the pups be soon???? Did something attack her?????

Lily stared at Solah. "nothing...." She lied then contiuded "Just a sharp pain in my belly...probley the pups..."

Lily sighed. "I guess...." Then WF came and growled " Who's this??" " That's Solah...she didn't hurt me...It was just a sharp pain in my belly...." Lily said then licked WF.

Solah sighed with relief. She walked away and basked in the sun. That had really scared her. She should talk to Frost Paws later to ask her why Lily was going through so much pain. Was something wrong with her pups? Frost Paws did seem to be tired or sick when she was carrying Songbird, but she never cried out in pain like this....Solah worried about the pups. She lied down and finished up eating her trout.

WF walked to Solah...." Hey, did you do ANYTHING to Lily????" He growled/asked..Lily just layed there, where she was, in pain...(like you said Randomkitty17) Was there something wrong with her pups?

"No sir. A pack wolf never hurts another wolf of the same pack, especially if it is a mother. I suspect something is wrong with her pups...you should let her rest up. " Solah responded to the big wolf. He look frighteningly strong, but something told her he wouldn't hurt a fly. Maybe he just had a bad temper.

"Um, I'm no expert on this topic, but you should let her get a lot of food, she needs extra to support the pups. Talk to Frost Paws, she's a mother." Solah replied and lied down.

WF walked to where Frost Paws is.. (r u Frost Paws???) " Um exuse me??? I'm White Fang...and my mate..Lily.....she's hving my pups soon and...well...he's been in a LOT of pain..and i want to know if there's something wrong or what??? And...well...what do i do??? I need help..."

Solah slept. She dreamed she was still in her old pack.the forest was burning! She cried out, but she choked on the smoke. The flames were surrounding her, engulfing her. She woke up with a start, breathing hard. She sighed and lied down. Suddenly, she thought of BrightStar. Were she and Grayflood ok? Would CT and BrightStar get along again? Where was CT? Solah lied down and tried to sleep again.

When GrayFlood was sure BrightStar was asleep, he snuck out of the cave. Following his nose, he quickly ran though the forest. BrightStar hadn't told him anything about her old clan, so he would have to find out himself. He was going towards the thunderfangs pack.
He arrived at the thunderfangs campsite, and immetiantly saw the wolf they call CT. "Hey!!" he called to the wolf.

avi froze as she saw the mexican stare straight where she was hiding. she braced herself, ready for an attack, but paused. the wolf looked calm, and made a slight flick with her tail. Avi stepped out from behind the tree and cautiously waked toward the wolf. "are you a loner too? or are you from one of the clans that tried to kill each other?"
