Meilin turned around. Nice? Kind?... Friend? She stood stiffly for a few seconds, struck speechless. When she opened her mouth a slur of words came out 'ButImevilandamurdererandapsychopathicfreakweirdo. HowcanIbeyourfriend?' these sentences came out as two words as she burst into tears and plopped onto her knees above the dirty ground.

Espeo stared slightly, cocking his head at Meilin's outburst. This was the first time anyone had ever said something nice to the poor crazy teen. Haunted by memories of the past, she had been left on her own since she was about 10, with only her Pokemon as companions. She had wandered the whole world, through region upon region, trading her feelings for power. As long as she had protection and could survive the night, she was happy. Because of this she has to stretch the limits of law often, but all she wanted was to live, to protect her only companions with all of her strength. He felt compelled to go over and lick her face, but decided to give her a bit of space for the fact to sink in; she had friends.

Treela was surprised by what Meilin did and what she said. She blinked and looked at the others with a confused face. She then sat down next to the crying teen and patted her back.

I have already broken every rule in the book and I wandered so far to get away. But I find myself drawn back. Because I can't get away. It's always there. I killed them.'

Striga growled and jumped on a tree's branch. He then sat down and looked at Luxray, "No."

Treela groaned and used Solarbeam on the branch. The tree caught on fire and Striga fell down. XD
