the Changing: When you get stung by a Griever and rushed to the Serum to receive a shot. Once you've taken the shot to repel the Griever's poison, rope-like veins appear as you get bloodshot eyes. For 3 days the most, your memories start coming back by a ton. Your mind cannot function properly due to so much stress, hence the veins and eyes. After the Changing is over, you can't remember anything anymore. Only bits of the pieces that remained.

Kennedy gradually came back into consciousness. Someone was pounding on the door and shouting. Kennedy rolled over and went back to sleep.

Kennedy was lying in bed, thinking of the pancakes his Mom would make him for breakfast. Suddenly he realized that he couldn't remember her name. He shot out of bed in a panic. He ran outside of the room and knocked a girl over. "Sorry." He said, now embarrassed.

Rei grumbled, and got up slowly, rubbing her eyes. She walked over to the two. "Why so early? S'not even time for school yet--" She opened her eyes, finding herself in front of the people from yesterday. It wasn't a dream. It was all real. She stood there, gaping.

Silic sighed. "Whatever, shank." She said, then looked at the tired girl. "No that was not a dream." She said. "Hope you enjoyed this one way trip, Greenies.-- h, better plug your ears. They're opening again." SHe said.

Rei snapped out of her gawking and plugged her ears, only to find it of no use when the loud grinding noise abuse her ears once again.

"Better plug your ears? What?" Kennedy said. Then he realized what she meant. An incredibly loud grinding sound met his ears. "Oww!" Kennedy didn't know that a noise could hurt. This one did.

As they were heading down, a shriek was heard, but Silic only snorted. "Syrus can't even shut 'er up." She said, walking still. Rei looked at the room it had came from. "What was that?" She asked, voice quivering. "None of the Greenies' concern." Silic said.

Kennedy heard a shriek from one of the rooms. He gulped. He ran down the stairs quickly. "Wait. Up." He panted. "You keep leaving me." But the two girls had kept walking and were now way ahead of him. He grumbled and ran after them.
