Hello there! ~ I need advice. :)

Hi! My name is Pendulum. For about 5 months, I have been on a semi-hiatus due to dealing with my personal life. Anyhow I have a question for the whole Egg Cave community! 😊

I am having an internal dilemma on many things right now. A significant one is creature suggestions and ideas. This may sound REALLY weird but that's the topic of my dilemma. It's been a year now since I submitted the Nym for creation, and 6-7 months since the Nym was released in Egg Cave. I was wondering on what the community's idea would be like if I said I wanted to create another creature.

The thing that is preventing me from moving forward at all is the fact that during August when the Nym was released, I didn't have time to explore the reception and what users thought of the Nym. I mean, I saw the Nym on the site and I have no idea what people think of them at all! 😱 Weird, I know. It's because I am proficient in being a lurker and stalker instead of communicating with people! 😋 I take all constructive criticism and understand negative and positive comments.

Not everyone likes my creation and not everyone likes Swornts. Personally, they scare me. A lot. No joke! (I know it's a weird comparison, but it could be any creature and I can presume that there is one creature that not everyone likes!) That is of course if I need constructive criticism. I also have around 20 concept designs varying from creature stage to 2-3 adult stages. They are all complete and different but I feel like I can't move on knowing if I need to change anything. Or if people have requests that I can agree on with drawing or anything like that. I just want to see if the Nym was a hit or miss so I know what to avoid next time and discard any concept idea that is remotely or 1% possibly relateable to the Nym. I appreciate any comments or just to talk. I need friends. I have none on here, literally. Leading a lurker life is a lonely life. 😋 Thanks.

The Nym was seriously one of the most popular monthlies! I had 4! Not joking. They are worth more than the other monthlies too!

Ah, so you're the creator of the Nym? I returned to the site on August 22nd only to find the Nym in the Cash Shop Park, my eggs had all died and my main goal was to buy myself a Nym, pronto.

I think that it'd be perfectly fine for you to suggest another creature idea, I've suggested around five our four creature ideas so far. Two have been released, on of the most recent being the Yuki.

The Nym is beautiful, I'd love to see more creatures relating to the Nym around the site.

@sky: Yes, I am the creator and I am so thankful that @Ian made my art and creature come onto the site. I didn't know they were that popular. I am astonished. Yes, and the Yukis are lovely. They are my favorite February Cash Shop Park creature! 😸

I ❤️3333333333333333333333333333 nyms! I want one reaaalllyy badly (maybe not as much as the shamrue though 😋) I have seen over about 35 wishlists with the word "NYM!!!" screamed on them. When I was a newbie, I saw a bunch of trades for a nym. The nym is probably the most popular eggcave creature EVAH!!! Make a new creation! I cannot wait to see it!

All of my sketches I talked about up there ^^^^ ARE made. They aren't like normal animals you can find on our Earth either.

They are original creatures. xD I just need time to submit them and I am frankly being lazy. I want other people to get their chance while I'm busy being busy packing.

Personally, Nym is my favorite creature on all of Egg Cave. /pokes featured/ I fell in love with it when I re-joined (on my main) in August, and almost died when I found out I had to pay $5 for it. But I finally got one, and I absolutely love it.

You can never really create a creature that everybody loves on Egg Cave. I got a mix of positive and negative feedback on my creation, the Crystar. Some people said that there were too many dragons on EC, others said that they loved it.

I actually made something like the Nym only totally opposite. Very opposite actually. Lets just say it doesn't have the cool colors the Nym does.

It's almost bright, vibrant like the sun. (; I didn't think Ian would like something like that. It's the only other creature I created that has that color fading effect on it like Nyms do. For instance, I believe it fades from red to yellow.

And the Crystar...I don't even view it fully as a dragon, but okay. o:

Plus, I want to submit the 7 other things I created. So next time I DO submit something, I want it to be something different. At least one creature submission in between. It's called the Xio... the opposite Nym like creature. They are alike I guess in one way and that's the color fading on the body and the kitsune face.
