Eternal Eden

January 1, 3000 AD.

The hundredth anniversary of when it began. The nuclear war from so long ago, yet still hasn't ended. The stubborn governments insist on attacking each other, even though it wouldn't do any good. It all started as a normal war, before a curious boy discovered the composition of a nuclear bomb, said to have wiped out several countries in the Oceania region. It went downhill from there. Countries developed increasingly complex, and deadly. The radiation would set in slowly, and hideously mutate people, weakening them and making them unable to fight. Cannibalism and death is prevalent among survivors, and often, there are packs in many regions.

However, for some people, instead of being mutated by these radiations, they grew powers. Science has not yet proven how this has happened. But it has. There is spreading gossip about a safe place, called 'Eden'. The people with powers are getting increasingly attacked by the normal citizens. True or not, they need to get there. But how? There is one citizen with powers who seeks Eden as well, but works alone, and never shares the spoils. They have to get there before 'he' does. They must.

'He' is rumored to be evil, and apparently has a band of power-wielding citizens working for 'him'. Nobody knows if this is true or not, but, in this case, they won't take chances. They've split up into small packs, to hunt this 'Eden', where they can eternally rest.

Description: Circular shape of face, pale skin, light blond hair that goes a little below the ears, a slightly lean [if not fragile] build, a bit lanky in appearance, left eye is a dark hazel-green, right eye is a light blue [heterochromia]. Usually just wears simple clothes of ambiguous origin, such as gray shorts with pockets on either side that reach to the knees, and a khaki/green short sleeved t-shirt.
History: His back his completely scarred with whip-marks due to torture/abuse as a young child. Parents unknown.
Power: Hypnotism. [No objects needed/included]He generally does not use this because of his personality, but when he does it's extremely effective if the victim is either looking directly into his eyes during his commands, or is asleep. Especially if they are dreaming.
Other: A bit shy around strangers, has the habit of casting his eyes to the ground in an attempt to avoid looking someone in the eyes. Yet when working the shyness tends to subside, as all focus directed at work usually makes him more casual. Tries to be polite, doesn't speak in complete monotone but tends to murmur now and then.

Description: His light blonde hair falls into his bright green eyes, making him dashingly handsome. He has a pimple on his chin and his cheeks are dotted with freckles as well as his arms. Oliver's normally happy-go-lucky, and is scared easily. But be warned, he can be extremely awkward, and uncomfortable. 😋
History (if any) : His family didn't survive the eating of eachother, so his aunt rasied(protected) him. She died when he was 8, and he's been on his own since then. He's strong, and he discovered his power when he was 7 and a half.
