The figure emerged from the shadows. It looked to be a young boy resembling a combonation of Charlie and Pixle. He smiled, show a row of sharp fangs. Eyes glowing red, he stared deep into Charlie's eyes. It seemed that all the happiness Charlie had experinced had been sucked away. A salty tear fell from his eyes. 'The stars, show me the stars' the child hissed.

Pixle took a slight step back, watching the boy with a slight hint of fear, her eyes glinted slightly as she kept her gaze locked on him, her heart pounded as she felt like she was staring face to face with her adopted father. Glancing over at Charlie as the child spoke.

'Stars' the boy rasped. Launching his small body at Pixle the boy giggle. 'Hiya Pixstix, you die now!' He sunk his fangs into her prosthetic arm. 'Ewww you tastes funny.' He turned and lept at Charlie.

"AHK!" she got to her feet and grabbed the boy, before he could attach Charlie, throwing him into the wall before barreling into him, she slid the gloving off of her hand, the gleaming metal underneath was sharpened to a point. Slapping him across the face, pixle's "claws" tore three long gashes in the boy's cheek

'You no play nice Pixstix!' the boy exclaimed. Charlie ran over and picked the boy up upside down. 'What do you want from us?!?' The boy snickered and shifted into a young girl. 'The stars! The stars!' She raped, tearing Charlie's shirt. Once more the child shifted, but this time was a hedious hippo-like creautes with [yeep] eyes and porcupine like quills running down its back.

Pixle shuddered a bit "What the shmeck is that thing!?" she snipped, tilting her head a bit as she looked the beast over "its like..." she looked from the creature, to Charlie, and back at the creature, prodding it a bit "Why do you want to see some silly old stars?"

@inkstep Are you familiar with the book Inkheart? The title makes me think of you. I bet you have an inkheart XD

Shifting to a man in a business suit, it spoke, 'Not just any stars, stars of the prophecy. The power of the saving grace. Charlie must be destroyed.' It shifted back to its beast form and charged, with its quills poised.

Pixle stepped in the way of the quills "You aren't going to hurt him!" she snapped, most of the projectiles bounced off of her arm, though a few nicked her side and one sunk into her leg.

Charlie watched as the quill pelted Pixle. 'Stop that, its me you want not her!' Charlie stood in front of her. Eyes glowing the beast charged once more. With a quick punch to the face, Charlie stopped the beast for a moment. Rearing up, it shifted into a looming bull, with horns tipped with flames. It snorted a smoke ring. 'Wonderful,' Charlie spat.

Pixle backed up a bit, biting her lip "Charlie that thing is going to kill you!" she snapped, pulling the quill from her leg, she cringed a bit and watched him with rather wide eyes.
@swimforlife haha, I'll defenately look into reading it, I always wanted to, and I heard it was good, didn't they make it into a movie?

@inkstep Yep, but the movie sucked. Its a trillogy Inkheart, Inkspell and Inkdeath, they're good books

Charlie looked at Pixle with dark eyes, 'Is this still fantasy? I can't tell, my head hurts!' The beast roared and charged. Rememebering his powers, Charlie's skin bubbled. He surroned Pixle and himself in an orb of water.With a swish of his hand, Charlie estinguished the flames on bull's horns. It belched a ring of smoke.

Pixle shuddered a bit, the water making her skin crawl as she remembered the white blankness and the flooding room. Watching the bull, she shuddered a bit more, the pounding of her heart echoing in her head

Charlie allowed the water to evaporate, realizing Pixle's discomfort. The bull snorted and charged at him. Charlie was scooped up by its horns. 'I'll show you...' the bull dashed to the window and shattered the glass. It left Pixle standing alone in the room.

"Charlie!" she took a few long and quick strides to the shattered window, the blinding white light that filled the outside world blocked her vision "Charlie!" she called again, staring down out of the window.

Hearing his name being called, Charlie turned to Pixle. Attempting to call back, Charlie found his words were gone. Snorting, the bull launched itself skyward and shifted into a phoenix. Its sharp talons dug into his shoulder. The light of the day reflected off the dead city below. It seemed to be a desolate ghost town. The bird set a plume of fie to an old building and screed. Reallsing its grip, Charlie pulmeted toward the tounges of the flames.

@swimforlife IKR!? XD I got a kite and a talk from Hank Smith *dies of joy* YAY HANK XD "if all your friends jumped off of a bridge, would you too?" 'well how high is the water and the bridge?'

Pixle held back a scream as the phoenix dropped her friend, she couldnt do much, except this. Holding out her arm, the static in the air conducted off of her arm and shot towards the bird, wrapping it in flashing white fingers of electricity, over-charging the creature's heart and brain and ultimately killing it. Though she couldnt do anything about Charlie.

Falling fast, Charlie watched as the flames neared. The bird dropped from the sky, dead. The crackle of electricity proved that Pixle had killed it. Landing with a soft thump, the flames enguled Charlie's body. The Klaxion jumpsuit protected most of his body, however the exposed skin was seared. His fands and face burned, it felt as if his skin turned to molten lava. Mannageing to roll out of the reckage, Charlie lay unconious from the pain. The last thought that crossed his mind was Pixle. Had this all been real?

Pixle gasped in fear as the blinding light surrounded them, she dropped a few feet into darkness, confused and rather discombobulated.

The blinding light seemed to penetrate Charlie's uncontiousness. A ringing of pain shot through his hands and face. Awaking to the chime of a bell, Charlie found himself in his Earth home. His alarm clock buzzed. It read 6:15 AM Feb, 20. That was months ago; the day he met Pixle. Glancing at his hands, no burns were present. Had this whole thing been a dream?

Pixle shuddered a bit, her eyes burned as everything changed, her mind blanked a bit as she found herself lying in a bed "is it over?" she muttered to herself, a pounding, no banging, on her door brought her to her senses, the dark colored room around her blocked out most of the light "what...." looking over at the neon light on the wall, her heart almost skipped a beat as she saw the date "but...he...it..." she was at a loss for words now

Quickly showering, Charlie dressed. Glancing in the mirror, his green hair starred back. 'I'm still a limehead!' He sprinted down stairs to grab breakfast. Piper/Victoria/Primrose drove him to school. 'Hey, Pipe let's go this way.' He asked, pointing toward Pixle's street.

Pixle quivered a bit as her dad snapped at her from up the stairs "Oh do shutup you fat snob" she hissed to herself, quickly slipping on her hoodie, and securing her brushes, paints, computer and sketchbook into her bag, before slipping out of the basement window and into the backyard. Jumping the fence into the front, she sighed as she started on her way to school "gotta find Charlie" she muttered to herself, her memory a bit hazy

Piper steered the car up Pixle's street. The large houses towered over the skinny road. 'Charlie, this is a private neighborhood. We don;t belong here.'
'Look, I know you're not really my sister. I just need to find Pixle.'
Piper looked hurt, her blue eyes darkend. 'I'm leaving you out here. How did you know?'
'Long story,' he replied, running toward her house.

Pixle sighed as she walked allong the shadows of the street, not noticing the car of Charlie at first, she stopped, remembering why she had been late that day, a car barreled down the road, if she had kept walking, it would have hit her. "You cant repeat the past without fixing a few mistakes" she muttered to herself "this has to be part of the phase" she muttered to herself, running across the street

Nodding Charlie smiled, 'I guess you're right. I'm still Limehead!' Grabbing her hand, they ran toward the school. Chalrlie slipped in through the audiotorium following Pixle through the secret passages. They arrived at Mr. Awl's class with 5 minutes to spare. The pudgy teacher began his lecture about safe driving. Brenden sat in the back, eyes trained on Charlie.

You are an awesome friend, thanks for the advice. They made me pretty mad and upset. Nothing like being called cold hearted and selfish...
