Haha well I updated the ideas, tell me if you have any others or if I left anything out. The same things or variations were said more than once so I didn't put them in the ideas.

@nvr4evr1 ~ Error = You said a second chance if breeding fails, I said no chance until the next breeding time is allowed

Kinda like the re-naming thing, to give an example

@victoria_egg_storage

Well I think it would be better, like if your egg can only breed a max of 2 times and the second time you try it doesn't work, you should be able to try until you're maxed out and can't breed anymore.

Well you can always rename the next month anyway if you use it up. 😋

Deleted • 21 June 2011 at 4:32 PM

@nvr4evr1 Can you put the CC idea, the second attempt and the original egg ideas under like, an undecided option thing.

Example -

*Ideas we agree one*
~Idea 1
~ idea 2

*Ideas we don't agree on/optional*
~Idea 1
~ Idea 2

And lol, that was an example XD The time lotted was what I meant

AND NOOO that's not what I meant!!

I meant you can breed as many times as you wish, once every [lets say two months] until you have two eggs.

Hmm, maybe we can get some other people to share opinions?

This seems to me like a 4-person debate 😊

Or what if you can only produce one bred egg from any one egg.

E.g:

Rhinedorf A + Rhinedorf B have a successfull breed, one Rhinedorf egg recieve. Neither Rhinedorf A nor Rhinedorf B can ever breed again. Just a thought 😊

@victoria_egg_storage

Okay I get it! And everyone please post on what you agree on and what you don't agree on to make it easier.

@ lizardfeather But it would be so nice to have family trees! ☹️

Hmm... I just don't think it would happen. I mean, I have four onnys, and if I breed... O_o

@lizardfeather Sounds good to me. that way, you'd be able to breed a creature off of the one you bred yourself, but you'd need a new creature of the opposite gender.

@smilies Not everyone is that lucky. Like me.

I am putting this stuff in a separate post because I cannot fit it. 😋

The pros: Replace dying rare eggs, give new users a chance at having rare eggs, circulate eggs, balances out eggs in users' coves, family trees/lineage

The cons: Small decrease in pet rarity (because a lot of people care about this), advantages, complications

Other good things: If breeding costs CC, it will increase CSP sales and attract new users.

@cresentfeather exactly, it would make rich people richer and poor people poorer O_o

@takatheeducatedchild yea I didn't think about that but then egg children could breed too without fear of overproduction 😸 Breeding would have to rarely work though to control the egg population... 😋 Maybe like the chances of getting an asteroid egg.

@lizardfeather AGH! NO! Not those chances. -_-

@smilies

Not if the "rich" people are kind and want to let the rest of Egg Cave flourish by trading their eggs. I don't see why people are so valued upon being "rich" or not -.-'

@lizardfeather

Oh and definitely not the chances at the asteroid, that's not fair. 😋

@smilies Maybe there could be a limit on how many of the same type of rare creature per cove. Ex. You can have as many purchased Onnys as you want, but you can have only 2 bred Onnys.

This should be a game about goals and getting the eggs YOU like, not trying to be rich or poor or having the rarest eggs. That just leads to greed.

@crescentfeather

I like that idea. 😊

@nvr4evr1 Well, it would encourage people to spend on CC bonuses, but I think the chances should vary for species.

And yes, I'm full of good ideas 😊

@lizardfeather I already suggested the only certain amount of eggs per parent XD My number was an example.

I've given eggs away to people for no reason o.o If they seem like they seem like they will take care of it

Might not an Onny or tine [Because of the CC if choosen, and only two chances to breed], But the most recent I've given away was one of the brown christmas eggs.

@nvr4evr1

Some people ARE going to be greedy.

@victoria_egg_storage

I know they will but that's their choice. If they don't want Egg Cave to be a fun lively place then they won't be getting anywhere if they act greedy anyway. 😋

LOL. *is swamped by alerts*

And yes, nvr4evr1, people ARE greedy. It's a sad fact of life. That's why people cheat.

Hmm now that I've read some of the ideas here, it is starting to make more since, I'm starting to like this idea a little more.

As well as @crescentfeather that is a good idea

😃😊

@victoria_egg_storage Yeah, greedy people are everywhere, but you can't do much about them when doing so makes things hard for those who aren't greedy.:/
