That's just supply. You have to input demand as well. Most people don't really like Crabberts, as they have depleting visual appeal and are found commonly in the cave every day. But you could get a Tasma for one.

Also, she's new to the site. And what she said is true, Crabberts are more rare than most of the commons on here. But she's offering for a Tasma. Not a ...Berr or something.

@magic Many of the eggs you find in the cave aren't actually rare.
Sure they have lowish rarity, but the rarity only goes up to somewhere around 120, so 8/12 isn't rare. Everyone finds them too, but they know they can always get one if they need one, and often don't want it, which is why they don't have large rarity numbers.
Anyway, once you stick around, you will realize that they aren't rare.
