In my school, we are raising money against kids how go to war in Africa by building schools. We went to We Day.

It's about a page long. Basically this Joseph Kony guy abducts children from their homes and forces them into his army. The boys are forced to kill adults and their own parents, and the girls... Well lets not mention what they do on the forums. So, the US sent in some troops to help track down Kony (who was ranked as the number one worst criminal world wide). However, the mission is losing steam, so they are asking people to spread the word and get passionate about it. You should watch the video if you get a chance.

It's great something is being done, hopefully it will continue.

I did know about this, not this organization but the events in Uganda and that we sent soldiers. Unfortunately there are many instances like this, countries that need aid, people being murdered. This is the world we live in.

@nkiay I know, and I recognize that this is to the only horrific act to exist in our world. And maybe this movement will come to naught, but if we don't try, how can we ever know?

As geography this year, we're learning about child soldiers in the D.R. Congo. It's really sad, they showed the former child soldiers (now in their 20s) and they're just beginning to start school ☹️ The US really isn't in the place to donate money, being in trillions of dollars of debt. But it's our government's choice :/
