It is the year 2040. A the government has assembled a group of scientists, as they believe the world is on the brink of Biological Warfare. The onlyhope of survival is genetically engineer a group of children to outlast the disease. Begining the work imediatly, with questions, the scientists are sucessful. A group of children have been born with super-human capablitities; they are stronger, faster and smarter than the rest of the popluation. Two years pass and there is no disease. One of the scientist discovers the 'disease' was a scam to create children super-soldiers. In everyone's best intrest, the children are sent to live normal lives. The govenrment destroyed all the scientists, in hopes of destroying evidence of the project. Before the lead scientist died, she tattoed all the children with unquie barcodes. She also gave them a silver pin shapped like a hummingbird (Project Hummingbird was the name of the project.) The children have been scattered, in hopes of hiding them from the government.

The government wants the children back. After ten years of years of searching, the govenment has been unsucessful. They have now sent other children in undercover to pose as the test subjects, in hopes of rounding them up.
All children are faster, stronger and smarter, but some have develpoed indvidual mutaions, like fire resistance, telepathy or teleokinesis, etc.

He rubbed the bird shapped pin on his shirt, hoping for some answers. Splaying his webbed toes, Vex frowned. Everyone called him a 'freak'.

Katniss shot but the arrow missed and the wolf troted up to her and barked "Thanks for helping me practice white fang"She told the wolf and gave it some fried rabbit,"I should go take a bath,i really need one,the last one a took was last week!"She told herself and came to her pond,well thats what she called it,she never seen anyone there...So she took of her clothes and dove in

Katniss was underwater when she seen it,Krok!she swam over her head peared at the boy going crazy because her baby Crocadile bit his foot but Krok let go when her heard Katniss yell out "Krok its not a frog!"He swam to her and she silently pulled herself underwater

Vex watched as the young crocodile slipped under the water. He pulled his legs underneath his body. 'What is a crocodile doing in a freshwater pond?' Vex wondered to himself. A dead branch snapped in the distance, Vex slipped into the water and dove to the bottom.
