tara was beginning to hate it here. sure, the people were nice and never teased her, but there was evil emanating from every inch of the building, and she could even feel distress from the tree right above her!

Leona dared to venture out of her bed to grab a bite to eat. She was trembling with fear, should Alyxis see her. Her resolve was beginning to materialize again, and her brain raced to find a solution to Alyxis's evil.----Light strolled towards the training facility, hoping to get in a little extra training and have the upper hand when she sparred with the other mutants.

Sage shrugged. "Eh, I've been mugged here and there. Being a bat doesnt exactly give you fighting skills. Police aren't too bad, unless they have tasers." She laughed.

Sage giggled and fake-fainted. "Oh, no!" she laughed. "Where is the cafeteria anyway...." she scanned the forms around her for any building that seemed cafeteria-y.

Light raised her eyebrow as she saw a small red head already in the gym. The red head was glancing nervously from side to side, almost as if she was afraid she wasn't supposed to be there. The girl didn't seem to notice Light however, because she was poring over what looked like files.------Leona's eyes darted across the heavy paperwork in her hands. She was looking for a certain name. Alyxis. She needed to know if Alyxis was the one who founded this facility.@pwuffy Did Alyxis found the facility?

Leona's hands finally tightened around one piece of paper. It was a grant to land, giving all of the land around the facility to Alyxis. Leona shivered. Alyxis had this planned all along. She put the document back into it's place and slipped away. She was heading towards the "special training" room.----Light saw the girl go and rolled her eyes. "Snoop." SHe thought to herself.

Alyxis, who was standing outside the room, looked over and saw Leona. "Hmm..." she focused and tried getting into her mind but just could not.

Leona felt a piercing stab into her head and looked around. No one. She tried to open the door to the room, but it was locked.------Light was practicing controlling the intensity of the light in the room.

Leona jumped and when she landed, it was almost as if glue had stuck her to the ground. She was paralyzed. She had no excuse, and when she opened her mouth only choking sounds came out.

Leona shut her mouth. Her eyes flared with sudden resolve. "First you answer MY question." Leona seethed in her most menacing voice. "When will you stop stealing our mutations?" Leona's fists hardened into solid rock.

"I got it." Leona said evenly, removing Alyxis's hands from her collar. "But I'm not a twerp, so your speech doesn't apply to me." Leona ran.

Leona looked behind her and saw that no one was pursuing her, and slowed down to think. She would have to get into the test room somehow. Just then the lights went out. Or it seemed like it. It was completely dark, and Leona couldn't even see her hand when she held it up in front of her. Suddenly, light returned to the hall. Leona was puzzled. It wasn't like some one had turned the lights off. It was almost as if the light had just disappeared.----Light collapsed onto the floor of the gym, breathing hard. Her attempt at ridding the entire building of light had worked, and she seemed to get energy out of the excess light in the building. But it was all released when she returned the building to it's original lighting. She mopped her sweating forehead and went off to shower.----Leona assumed that it was just a funky mutation some one had and resumed her thought.

Sage shrugged. "I dunno, I'm the blind-ish one." she joked. "Um, the cabin....Ooh! Is it over behind those trees...?" she pointed to a clump of trees and bushes.(There's now a topic about pretty much the same thing as ours, a facility for mutants....um, copy much? It kind of irks me, there's soooo many warriors topics, so many wolf topics, and now there's another mutant topic? If you like the idea, join the topic thats already there! -.-; sorry for da rant, peeps)
