Mari almost fell, but didn't. She continued running, and arrived at faciltily, by hitting the brick wall.

to see perfectly in any condition.) Light manipulation.
Unusually intense blue eyes. Short and cropped blond hair. Average height. Wears designer stuff, and sunglasses in public.
Self-confident, witty, and out going. Makes herself heard, and isn't afraid to state opinions. She leads a pretty normal life, and her hair is short so that if her mutation goes out of wack, it looks like she's only having a bad hair day. Is confident in her powers. Is partial to cupcakes.

Light woke up and went through her typical morning routine. Turn on lights in an effort to appear normal. Brush hair in an effort to appear normal. Apply make up in an effort to appear normal. Get backpack ready and go to school, remembering to put on sunglasses. Once outside, rub off repulsive makeup. Go to school.
Once at School:
Be teased about her name and frequent bad hair days- today was another one of them. Slip away during lunch to practice her light manipulation. Come back to more teasing. Resist the urge to set her classmates spitballs, which are directed at her, on fire.

Go home and practice light manipulation more. Struggle through homework. Turn off the lights regularly in an effort to appear normal, and go to sleep.

Kay studied the hamburger they gave her at the cafeteria. She somehow wandered off to the place where she was first dropped off here. She wanted to see if anyone else was here, so she waited.

@taffy789 She can control the way her hair moves, so she can make it defy gravity. But most of the time, she doesn't have control over it, resulting in some awkward situations.

Light dreamed that she was floating through the air on a cloud of feathers, to the clouds, where she could dance with the birds and be free. A girl walked towards her, feathers flitting around her hair and eyes. She had a beautiful purple coloring, and an exotic, intoxicating smile. She opened her arms, revealing wings, and flew away, higher into the clouds. Light grasped a feather between her fingers and wished that she could follow the girl into freedom. She was one of her kind.

( the girl in the dream wasn't Arinee, it was just some random made up mutant.)

Mari got her lunch and ran outside. She climbed a tree once again, and decieded to eat her burger there. She hungerily bit into her burger.

Kay was given wires and metallic objects to play with. She sat under a tree, looked up, and didn't see Mari. Then she saw Mari at the tree next to hers. Kay shrugged. Her skillful fingers were quickly constructing an electronic.

Light woke up and wasn't in her home. She leaped up and looked around wildly. Then she saw another girl, a blond. "What am I doing here?!", Light asked wildly.

Light turned right into the face of a woman with out pupils. She backed away, before realizing that she was among friends. Fellow mutants. Light calmed down just enough to have lunch.

Felicia pushed aside the white woman as she welcomed Felicia to FGM. "I don't care!" she snapped. She wandered out into the woods, but didn't leave the area. Through a window, she saw Mari eating her lunch. "Another cat mutant like me!" her voice dripped in sarcasm, but she was excited to meet the other girl.

Sage snuck inside the cafeteria and got some food. She picked at her salad. It was strange, seeing everyone but not what they looked like. She willed the images to fade, and she ate her meal in complete blindness. Sage saw more people, and she wondered if she should talk to them.
