I'm so impressed you bothered to click this.
Anyhoo, this is a role-play about underground people. Read on! If you've read the book, *claps* impressive. And it you haven't, don't worry. It's all covered here! (:

~*~*~ INTRO & MAP ~*~*~
You are in a underground town called Ember. Expect, you don't know what underground means. You're living your small and happy life here.
A never-ending bundle of non-perishable food comes through the storage units at the west side of the town. On the east side is the greenhouses, probably everyone's most favourite place to hangout. Up to the north is the clean apartments, as there is no such thing as a 'house' as well as a small school. Down south is the garbage pile which never grows. It seems to fall into a hole and make the air smell like a rainforest. In the middle is a beautiful crystal-clear fountain that is always running.
All the light ever comes from streetlamps. There's no such thing as candles, or flashlights. But you don't know that. And you're ok with that. You are 30 feet underground, and it is dusty, dirty, and dark. But it's normal. This is a small city surrounded by darkness. Only the light comes from these streetlamps, which go out at 9pm.
There's no such thing as 'outside' or 'aboveground'. This is your world, and that's all you know.

Personality: quiet and self reserved. Smart young girl who loves books and tends to carry one around at all times. It's a MUST XD she's got a dark side of course, and it's phsycotic XD

Appearance: smallish girl with waist length midnight black straight hair. Big eyes, that have lots of different shades of purple in them (thanks to steve XD)

Close Friend: well, she has a brother called Anton that disappeared when she was younger, and she still worries about him.

Other: well, she used to live in a mansion called Barde Manor with her father and brother. She loved it there, it was great, with swimming pools and outdoor chess games with her brother and a life so easy, until her father died and her brother disappeared. Somehow she ended up here.

(btw the setting is exactly like a town/city. but it's dark and you can't go past the apartment line. so the map's (apartments(shops(centre)greenhouses)apartments) kind of thing. xD )

Andrew's body shook as he coughed violently, but when it finally subdued, he smiled as he looked at the fountain. It was cheap paster and it was leaking, but nonetheless it was beautiful.

Jasper hated this place. Being underground turned into his least favourite place. At first, he found it kind of cool, but now, it was boring. There weren`t many things to do. He walked around and saw a few people.
