Aizel heard a spashing of water and climbed the nearby tree jumping and crawling between the branches of the nearby plants until she was standing on a low willow tree next to the pond where Vex was.
She looked at the otter and raised an eyebrow. She wasn't sure whether it was a shifter or a simple animal so she crouched on the branch and waited to find out.

Eira sighed and walked outside their rugged home. She looked at the pond her left ear twitched as she looked at the water rippling. She wondered what caused it.

Aizel suddenly looked up to see a girl staring at the pond. She had ears in her hair so Aizel assumed she was a shifter. She pulled a branch out of her eyesight to look at the girl better.

Vex is in human form...

Swimming with a refined backstroke, Vex caught a glimpse of hair. 'Is that a girl?' he wondered, having not seen many humans in 'his' part of the forest.

Aizel's eyes widened and she hid further into the tree when she saw the shifter looking at the willow tree.
She crawled down and hid in the crown of the tree where the branches were thicker. A thinner branch broke beneath her feet as she was climbing lower and she tumbled towards the ground, righting herself at the last moment and landing safely on her feet.
She knew the shifter had seen her so she just casually leaned against the tree as she had intentionally jumped down.

Eira yawned and sat down and heard her father yelling inside. "Oh great.." she muttered putting her hand in the water trailing her fingers through the water.

Vex watched as the girl tumbled from the tree. He followed her glance to another girl, who had ears atop her head.
Pulling himself from the pond, he raised an eybrow

Aizel looked at the girl and raised an eyebrow. She looked like a poor girl.

Eira jumped back in shock "I'm E-Eira.." she said softly her ears going down as if she was nervous.

'Thats a VEXing question' he said stressing his name, in mock annoyance. 'Nice to meet you both,' he replied extending a webbed hand. Water dripped everywhere.

--Still haven't decided if he is an otter or a bat...

Aizel happily shook his hand, the webs feeling weird against her skin but she ignored it.
"Nice to meet you." she said, her fluffy tail banding downwards and laying on the ground. Her big sharp ears twiched as she eyed them both.
"What are your animals?" she asked.
