Stretching fully along the treebark, Aizel slumped down the tree afterwards. She took a comfortable position and began softly purring.
"A name suitable for an aristocrat. I may like that name... Mhrm.. mreow... Katia.." she tested the name out onto her tongue, sharpening her nails out on the bark.

A soft ruffle of leaves cut her off and she lifted her head to glance at a pair of grey eyes glancing at them from the bushes. Her eybrow shot up and she sighed.
"Don't think that you're invisible, hiding there. I see you." she commented blankly, yawning.

Avery had reached her home just in time to come into her room and put away her travelling clothes. An angry woman burst throught the door after she had finished cleaning up.
"Where were you!?!?" her angry voice filled the small room. The girl cowered down.
"Nowhere..." she muttered obediently, avoiding eye contact with her. "In here all day."

The lady didn't seem to buy it. "Don't lie to me!" she yelled again. Avery let out a sigh. "In the forest. Looking for my pigeon."

The woman frowned in disgust. "Seeking your own filthy kind, I see. But if meet anybody, better keep your mouth shut!" with that and one final growl, the lady exited.

Drake then walked along the rooms and made it to Jane's room. He then walked in and sat on a bench next to her bed. The eagle mutant then smiled at her, happy to know she was ok.

Janes eyes kept fluttering, the medicine they had put in her just before he came in made her want to go to sleep. Though she managed to smile for a moment. "Hi, I'm Jane" She said with a yawn. "And you are?" She said. But after a moment the medicines effect wore off and shge didnt feel like going to sleep.

"My name is Drake. It's good to see you are fine." he said, smiling, "So I see you are a Slave. It must feel terrible to have little freedom. I used to be one, but I was not able to stand how much limited space there was in my life, so I escaped and became a Wild. You were lucky I found you." he sighed, "Anyways, I should get going. I'm not used to this...environment."

"Wait!" She said with a frantic like tone in her voice. "I just... I just wanted to say thanks, you know, for saving me and all" Jane almost said in a whisper like tone when she got to the end. "And I am no longer a Slave. I ran away, even though I was treated okay there. There was something I just couldnt quite understand about it all. I wanted more than what I had I guess you could say" She told him.

"I see. And your welcome, it was the right thing to do. I just could not have let you there to.... die." Drake said, having a hard time saying the last part. He then took his back and walked to the door, "I hope we meet in the future. Until next time Jane. Oh, and be careful out there." Drake chuckled, walking out of the hospital.

Jane lay her head back on the pillow and closed her eyes. Her arm was wraped with white gause. She could feel her arm now, it didnt even hurt. Her leg didnt either. The anistecdic must have wore off by then though.

The doctor came in without a word and untied her bandages. "There may be bruses. And you might have some trouble getting home, we will call your owners." He said after he took them off.

"Oh no! I can get home just fine" Jane told the doctor smiling.

"Alright if you think you can make it" The doctor told her stubornly. He turned and left the room without anything else to say.

Jane got up and limped down the hall for a few moments. She grabed her clothes and stuff then took a moment to look out the window and just let her mind wonder aimlessly through space. She walked out the door and looked behind her into the room. 'Leaving captvity again' she told herself leaving the hospidal, she fanally made it back to the forest.

Drake was sitting on a tree, just watching below for prey. He then saw Jane run in the forest. He decided to follow her by climbing from tree to tree.

Jane got to a large tree and stopped to breath. She panted for a moment then started to walk deeper into the forest. Transforming into her cat form she quickly caught a squirrel. But didnt have mutch an appite after what happened. She left the dead squrrile for the other preditors.

She walked into a cave while transforming back into her half form, she sat on a rock unsire of what to do.

Drake jumped down from a tree and started eating the squirrel, wondering why Jane left it there. He looked ahead and reconized a familiar shape in the cave. He chuckled and kept eating the squirrel.

Something crawled on Janes hand. She sat there still as a stone, in the dakrness of the cave she could only see a black sploch crawling around her hand. "Please god. Oh please dont let it be a d*nm spider" She prayed silently.

Drake then got up and walked up to her. He then took the spider off her hand and ate it like a chip, "Yummy spider." he said, sitting next to her.

Jane stood up and looked around. She shivered for a moment. "Yuck I bet there are more spiders in here" She said. She shifted into her cat form and bolted out and up the side of a tree attacking a finch. "MRROW!" She meowed jumping at it. But it flew away and she once again plumeted to the ground.

Drake sighed and walked over to her, "Are you ok?" he asked. He then looked up and said, "Sorry, got to go." he gasped, running away. He then jumped near a house and started searching for Avery.
