Skylar woke up and looked around the room. It was a large grey one with a thick smell of mold, you would acspect most teens to come out of there rooms to eat. But Skylar never did. She had her food given to her by the Pizza guy who she called almost everyday. And even he has never saw her face.

Brendon growled getting up and waking to the edge of the cave and looked out into the storm as lighting flashed.He looked at the ground when the memories haunted him
Flashback:
As a large black car pulled up at a large run down cottage and the rain drops landed on the windows racing along the freshly cleaned transparent glass."Ah you've made it.." came a loud booming voice as the door opened."Bessie take him..we have no use for him.." growled a blonde woman pushing out a boy with silver white blonde hair."Ah Brendon..we are going to have loads of fun.." The witch sniggered grasping his shoulders hard."Mommy please don't leave me here!" Brendon wept but the engine started up again and the car took off.A sharp slap caused him to freeze "Dont cry stupid boy..now get to work!" the woman shrieked dragging him by the ear.

Brendon opened his eyes and shook his head at that horrid memory.

Glancing down at the bloodied bandges, Vex let out a small gasp. He recalled getting inured, but the extent of the bleeding was much worse. 'Aizel...' he breathed, voice catching in his throat. 'I've lost a lot of blood. I can't feel my fingers...' Attempting to make a fist was next to impossible. Each pang of rain on the cave roof sent a shiver up Vex's spine. 1729.1729. The number played over and over in his mind. Each didgit was illuminated and engraved itself into his eyelids. When he closed his grey eyes, the numbers were still present. Vex could not face the facts of his past. Unloved. Unborn. Unnatural. Freak. That's all he ever was until he arrived at the orphanege. Life did not imporve much since he stepped through the rotting door frame, but he had one new thing. Friends. Family. Aizel, Katia and Brenden.

Glancing sideways at the boy, Aizel quickly scrambled over, grabbing a spare package of bandages.
"Hold on. You're making it bleed more." she stated, lifting his head and placing the backpack under it. Vax had also gotten quite a bad bruise on his head from the fall so by the small river of blood that trickled down his forehead, she guessed that it was a serious injury.
She unwrapped the bandaged fingers, wincing mentally as the infected wound was revealed.

Brendon looked over but didn't move.He shook his head and seems dazed "You can't do a thing boy..worthless [yeep]!" a voice said in his head."No..." he thought shaking his head."H-Hey Aizel anything I can do to help?" he asked and smiling at Katia.

The weight was taken from Vex's neck and displaced by the backpack. He relaxed his body, as he did not need to worry about keeping his head still. An apricot sized lump was knotted in his forehead. Crimson blood and dirt was caked around the edges. Aizel's dark eyes immediatly comforted Vex's weary mind. Moving gingerly adn quickly, she changed the bandages. Her face contorted, the quickly flashed back to a smile. 'What's wrong? What's under there?' Vex asked, eyes wide. The expression meant something wasn't quite correct.'Are my webs gone? Forever?' he asked, now the usual timbre of his voice fading to a squeak. The leadership and strength of the tone had disappeared and replaced by a child-like whisper. Reaching for Aizel's cheek, Vex's arm gave out. It fell limply to his side. The seaing pain shot up his arm, but stopped before his wrist.

Katia cocked her head, it was spinning, as she racked through Brendon's memories she remembered her own too.

FLASHBACK:

I sit in an empty house, tears silently flowing down my cheeks. They had gone. My brother and my father. Gone. The An Barde family was strange like that, an ancestral curse or something. I bite my lip, which has been chewed, bloodied and flaky. I had been able to survive on my own for a while, but my aunt had came to visit, and seeing this spectacle she sighed. With more money than she had time, she gave the orphanage a big check and was going to drop me there in a couple of minutes.

In the limo I keep crying quietly. I don't want to go to an orphanage, I'm only four. Aunt has cleaned me up and put me in my best dress and pigtails, but I know it won't last long, I am a smart little four year old.

As I am walked through the door, I see a blonde boy a little older than me. His bright blue eyes have been dulled and he has been crying recently. An ally. He has an aura of rebellion surrounding him. As my aunt leaves to sort paperwork with a fat man dressed as a woman, *ah, that must be the witch* I walk up to the boy.

FLASHBACK OVERR.

A lump formed deep in her throat as Vex's worried, wide eyes settled on hers. She tried flashing a supporting smile but she ended up only twisting her expression further. She tried to avoid frowning and gently took Vex's hand, putting it away and scooping closer to his injured shoulder. It was broken, she was sure of that(no human limb should be bent in that angle) as it seemed to cause him pain with every movement. She could sense fear in his eyes and as she glanced sideways at Brendon and Katia, she couldn't help but notice their dazed state. She turned back to Vex.
"It's all okay... I'll fix you up in no time" she cooes softly, reassuringly. "Don't move your arm, it will cause you great pain if you do so" she added, turning to face Brendon again.
"Hey, Bren, can you get me some bandages?" she asked, failing to keep her voice steady as it began to tremble.

Brendon's eyes seemed cloudy and foggy as he turned "Alright.." he answered passing a bunch of bandages over to her.He didn't seem happy or sad angy..he had no emotion in his face at all.He just looked dull and almost dead looking but obviously he was awake.

Accepting the bndages, Aizel paused for a moment to look at Brendon with uncertainty.
"Hey, are you feeling alright?" she asked quietly, voice barely above a whisper. "Snap out of it." she whispered again, clamping a hand on his shoulder. "Are you okay?"

Brendon turned and it seemed as if his eyes would never be as blue as they were again.He had just dark grey eyes and the blue looked as if it had faded away forever."I dunno.." he answered merely sounding like a child.He felt no feeling not even any emotion and numbness went though his mind.He looked up and his once bright sea blue eyes were dark grey with hints of black.

Aizel recieved the bandages from Brended and immediatly began to work her medical magic. Vex assumed she learned the trade from necessity. A glassy look washed over Brendon's face, he seemed lost. Perhaps he was recalling something, as his eyes searched for an invisble being. Heeding Aizel's warning, Vex did his best to immobilize his shoulder. Numbness creeped up his shoulder blade and dipped into his spine. The metalic taste of blood in his mouth caused Vex to gag. The feeling as if he had swollowed something rotting plagued his stomach. A bubble and gurgle rocked through his insides. Resentment began to pound in his head. Vex attempted to convince himself that the past should stay in the past. It was not working.

Skylar looked out her window and seen the forest. She had taken the key to her room from Big Bessie and had never been seen sence. No one even really knew her name, to others in this Orphanage she was like a legend. Never adopted. Has really never been seen sence she waws 13. Everyone seemed to look at her door and slently plea for her to come out. She never did.

@hay7199 Well, everyone is in a cave snce they killed the orphanage owner and ran away since the police were chasing them and accusing them of murdering the owner. I don't know how you can jump in, maybe run in the forest and the others will hear you run near te cave, :/

Letting out a quiet sad sigh, Aizel took off the light jacket from her back and rolled it in a soft ball, placing it on the ground.
"I think you're not feeling well, lay down for a while, you might be just dizzy" she stated, trying more to reassure herself than Brendon. She slightly bit her lip at the sight of Brendon's nearly black eyes. He looked so dull, grey, dead. The gleam in his eyes was gone and they looked lifeless. She couldn't help but gulp quietly.

Redirecting her attention to Vex, her agile hands quickly snapped to work.
"I'll do the best I can, you won't lose your webs, I promise" she told the boy, flashing a ressuring smile and looking into his troubled eyes.
