Roleplay Characters

As you all know we have a great myraid of names and personalties on our roleplays. Do you ever wonder where them name originated? Did you name a character after your hero, a friend, a loved pet? Who did you base thier personality on? Do they share the same intrests as you?

I just came up with Pepper one night. No real connections with him at all.

Reno is based off of a character in the 2003 version of the Astro Boy show.

I have two that I use, Pixle Elliks Reve, and Xavier Castle.
I based pixle's personality off of me, her tallent as well, she was my first roleplay character and I haven't used anyone much else besides her. Her interests are the same as mine, yes, but her looks no, her looks are based off of a dream I had, I had looked in a mirror and what I saw became Pixle =3 with her interests and background I figured I'd give her the name.
Xavier on the other hand is different, He used to be called Toxic, and I came up with him one year at camp, my friend and I were sleeping outside, discussing names, I loved the names Milo, Marcel and Xavier, we started randomly sketching and somehow I ended up drawing the blindfolded, purple haired, 15 year old boy. Making him Pixle's cousin, I made him protective over her and used everything I didnt put into her, into him. it morphed a few times, both of them did, until I got the characters I use now ^^

Awesome! I've been dying to know thier orgins because the seem so real to me...
