Teiko~~

Teiko walked into a cafe, ordering hot chocolate and sitting at a table in a corner. /Eight months./ She sipped her drink, pondering over how she was going to cure her disease. Teiko pulled out her laptop and searched up "dreams" as she had done countless times before. She already had gone through nearly every page that showed up in the search results, but she still felt more comfortable with the information in front of her.

Teiko had been haunted by nightmares ever since she got her disease - she was a Nightmare, after all - so transforming other people's pleasant dreams into nightmares didn't require as much thought. Perhaps creating terrors for people in their dreams was slightly morbid, but she couldn't say she really cared. If she died, it didn't matter; if she lived, she would be glad she did this.

Teiko glanced the other way; a group of people were displaying their powers, transforming into creatures. /Dreamwalkers./ Teiko thought, and had to hold back a startled gasp. Perhaps they were Nightmares, but chances were they would kill her if they knew her secret. Instead of doing anything drastic, she just observed them. Anyone would be curious, anyway. And there was no way for them to know. Hopefully.

Sylvia headed towards a cafe, and a girl observing a group of people caught her eye. She sat at a table behind the girl, drinking a smoothie.(I want one right now e.o) She observed the girl as she observed the group of people showing off their powers.

Kauto shoved his pancakes into his mouth. Feeling a pair of eyes on him, Kauto twisted around and took sight of a girl who appeared to be watching him. He made a face at her and resumed his meal, not even considering that the girl may be a possible enemy for him.

"we've spotted him at the edge of the forest" the aegle called out from above, "be careful!" he landed on a pine tree. Selene ran ahead and saw a figure in the mist, she drew her bow and shot the figure."One more nightmare dead" she said. she walked back to the cafe to get a glass of water.

Teiko~~

One person from the group turned around, making a face at Teiko before continuing to consume his pancakes. Her eyes darted back to her laptop, and she searched up "nightmare." Teiko skipped through the irrelevant pages, opening her results in a new tab. She skimmed through them, as she had done before, in search of useful information she might have missed. Many of the sites stressed how nightmares couldn't hurt you in real life. /Right./ Teiko thought, vividly recalling the scratches she once had after she left one person's dreams. Her own dreams had become strangely realistic, too.

Teiko glanced sideways as another girl sat behind her. She felt as if she were being watched, which was uncomfortable for her with a group of Dreamwalkers only steps away. Teiko turned on her camera's computer, causing a tab to pop up showing her face. She angled her laptop slightly so her camera would be able to capture the girl behind her. Teiko shrunk the tab and dragged it into a corner, assuring herself that her body would block the girl's view of it. Teiko continued to look though her search results, glancing toward the group of Dreamwalkers every once in a while.

Selene walked in and sat at the bar. She ordered a glass of water from the waitress "aren't you a little young to be out here at night, where are your parents?" the waitress asked. Selene looked away at the mention of her parents, " I just need a glass of water." she muttered. The waitress shrugged and gave her a glass of water. Selene looked behind her and saw a someone behind a laptop. She pushed the water away and looked at her feet not eager to make eye contact with anyone.

Teiko~~

Teiko glanced toward the image of the girl, noticing that she was taking something from her pocket. She tilted the screen until she could barely make out a blade. Concluding that the girl was dangerous, Teiko quickly minimized each of her tabs and rose. Looking around, she spotted the restroom and briskly walked over to it.

Leaning against the restroom wall, Teiko took out her phone and pretended to be texting in case anyone entered. /Who is this person?/ she pondered. Her best guess was that the girl was another Dreamwalker, hoping to kill her because she was a Nightmare. The main thing that eluded her, however, was how she could possibly know.

Background: Trish was born with a sickness that caused her to become blind. One day, she ate a magical carrot that contained Vitamin A, curing her illness and allowing her to see. Trish grew up with a burning passion for carrots. She also enjoys reading, and when not doing something involving carrots she is often found doing this. Trish lives alone with her carrots.
Personality: Trish is very smart and loves reading books, and of course, loves carrots. She is only kind to people she knows and doesn't care what others think of her. Her her friends are all carrots; she doesn't bother making real friends. She is short tempered to strangers. Trish is strong willed and never gives up. After she found out she had this disease, she has been dedicated to find the cure and has been reading books more than ever to find it. Trish doesn't care about the Nightmare/Dreamwalker thing, but became a Nightmare for fun and to curse carrot haters.
Appearance: Trish has orange hair with green highlights, usually in a braid or ponytail. She also wears a green bow at the top of her head that looks like the top of a carrot. She has pale skin and green eyes. Trish tends to wear bright colors. She also wears a carrot charm bracelet.
Ability: She has carrot powers, but to a certain extent.
Alliance: Nightmare
Other: At first I just put "likes carrots" in the personality, but then I got out of control. Btw, I hate carrots.

Lol, a Death Note would have been interesting. xDD Why is your charrie stalking mine, anyway? You should post your character's thoughts. ;D We aren't really getting anywhere in the roleplay. Sylvia should talk to Teiko. xD

Teiko decided she would have to resume under the assumption the girl knew that she was a Nightmare. It would probably be best to leave, but she couldn't abandon the possibility that this could help lead her to a cure. The door opened, and Teiko glanced upward. The girl had followed her. Curious to see what her intentions were, Teiko continued to act as if she were texting. Fortunately, because her power was lying and persuasion, she could use it without revealing that she was a Dreamwalker.

Although her brain was a little bit fuddled, she forced herself to remain calm. She could pour out lies without blinking an eye; lying was her power. Teiko looked up, putting on a confused expression. "No, what's a Nightmare?" she questioned.

I slumped into the nearest restaurant I could find. I've been fasting by reading over my books for 6 hours strait. A waiter walked up to me, with a concerned expression. "Excuse me, are you ok?" She asked. I looked up and glared at her with baggy eyes, annoyed, and she was taken aback. "Uh, um, Alright, may I get you any food?" She asked.

"Just a bowl of chopped carrots." I replied
