Selena growled at Alex before lunging at Zaylia. Zaylia fell to the floor with a loud thump, and she pulled her spear up to protect herself. Zaylia held the spear like a person would hold a pull-up bar, attempting to push Selena away. Selena hissed, hereyes glowing as the last rays of the sun descended behind the mountains in the horizon.

Kyle flicked his head to the side, his bangs covering his eyes. His sensitive hearing told him that there was fighing deepe in the woods.

Sylvia started down the flight of stairs leading to the second floor.

I turn my head to the noise, dragging my head away from the boy. I look into the woods, trying to see anything.

Selena moved closer to Zaylia, opened her mouth to bite her neck.

Zaylia screamed.

Kyle followed after Aphrodite.

Zaylia stood up, saying no to the stake, and brandished her spear.

Selena froze for a moment, tilting her head to the side, before standing up and running away, deeped to the unknown parts of the woods. Their were vampires nearby; and she knew they could kill her in an instant.

Sylvia dragged Joseph outside. "We have to get to class.", she said. "We're already late cuz you overslept"
