I know this is a forum for well... creature suggestions, but this time I'd have an idea for Cave Cash. I know you guys already pay with Paypal, but since you are already linking with Facebook and such, wouldn't it be a good idea to link it with Facebook Credits?I mean, I don't really know the nooks and crannies of software payment/design but since you guys are already linking Egg Cave to FB, wouldn't it be good to allow payment to FB Credits and it could be posted on your own FB account: "(Name) just bought (number) Cash Cards. Why won't you join the fun?" or something like that?Anyways, that was just an idea. đA few pings to get this convo started:@hollyroxn01@jazzyleia@isra@jubilee

@jean561114573609 It's not just for creature suggestions đIt's a good idea (and would make sense), although I don't use Facebook/Twitter so I have no idea if FB credits cost money. If they don't, I'm not so sure since CC is meant to cost real money.

@karamelNo, no. FB does cost money, you pay real life. But it's easier with FB credits since you can buy cards of FB credits at sotres and set it up on FB while Egg Cave Paypal needs a credit card or whatever which might be harder for those parents who don't like giving passwords on internet and whatnot. I know my parents wouldn't give their passwords "just for a game" while I can pay myself a Fb card alright.

@jean561114573609 That's a really interesting idea, but I'm not sure if it would work, since the CC on Egg Cave goes to Ian, but using Facebook Credits may not allow him to be paid ^^

Meh, I don't know but maybe FB gets a certain percentage then the rest goes to the person who set it up? I seriously don't know xD I just thought about it in my bed and was like "It could be a great idea for people who can't afford a credit card or for the parents that can't."Maybe on the Cave Cash payment tab, you could put besides "Pay in FB Credits" and then a person gets directed to Facebook and a page of "Payment of Cave Cash" then you choose the number and whatnot.Cave Cash creatures could also be bought there too! @duchessExtra pings:@Ian@Zac

@jean561114573609 Zac isn't part of EC staff anymore đ"Ian would have to haggle with FB's owner for that though, for money to go to him. But I would like this (even though it wouldn't benefit me as I don't use FB) đ¸

good idea.đmy mom will never ever buy CC with her credit card.âšī¸
telekinec • 16 April 2012 at 11:49 AM
Yea xD But at least it would benefit other users and it would be somewhat more accessible đ@karamel

@jean561114573609 Paying for CC with FB credits would actually not work unless Egg Cave were to become a Facebook app. FB credits are used for FB apps and not outside websites. Also I think the percentage that would go to Facebook for purchase of the credits would be greater than the percentage that Paypal takes out of its transactions. So it probably wouldn't be as profitable for Ian.

@orderedchaos: Meh maybe, it was just an idea. Bu if FB credit is more accessible for everyone maybe the accessibiliy will be better and thus will balance the percentage Ian gets. And some Apps exist just to pay FB and they get linked to games that are not FB apps. Also, does somebody know how to link to one of your creatures on your profile? I went to check on the ecode guide and it hasn't helped.
Orderedchaos • 16 April 2012 at 12:06 PM
@jean561114573609 There is a "like" and "share" button that can link a pet on your FB profile. For linking a pet on EC use [e=id number]words[/e]. The id number for your pet can be found on its page at the end of the address.

I didn't think Facebook did that with games that aren't one of their apps... Like you can buy brownie points on sorority life and stuff for an example...but with eggcave I think it would be tricky... since they're not really that connected.
telekinec • 16 April 2012 at 12:14 PM
Meh, probably. At least Egg Cave has a page, Ian would just have to check for it.x-rubykisses-x
jubilee • 16 April 2012 at 6:02 PM
Yeah, it wouldn't work out as FB credits are only used on FB. Maybe Ian could implement just straight credit card payments and make it usuable with prepaid credit cards?
telekinec • 16 April 2012 at 6:10 PM
@ubille that would probabaly be the best idea if FB doesn't work... But both are still good but would probabaly cost investement and whatnot... xD
Orderedchaos • 16 April 2012 at 6:12 PM
@jubilee Prepaid credit cards work with Paypal/the current way to buy CC already, in case you didn't know. đ
jubilee • 16 April 2012 at 6:14 PM
@orderedchaos Oh really? I didn't know that. đ Thanks for pointing that out.
jazzyleia • 16 April 2012 at 7:48 PM
@jean561114573609I don't really use Facebook coins but i think this would be a great idea!
