"I at least want to see what it's like down there. And besides I can do good, sneaking you water, right? Just let me in for a minute and I'll help you." she said. She'd always been stubborn.

Aizel smiled with satisfaction and folowed the boy. She always knew that her stubborness would pay off some day. She looked at Brendon.
"Will ya be ok?" she asked. She had to admit, she was a little worried about him. And for all the other men too. Theboiler rooms seemed like a dangerous place.

Katia finished her breakfast and wiped her mouth. The maid was staring at her like she was an alien. 'mmmm!' she grinned, not a speck of food on her face. "what?" the maid thought. "is this child a professional eater or something?"

Brendon nodded " Aye I'll be fine." he answered but truth be told he wasn't to sure himself..
The boy unlocked a huge metal door and pushed the others in and slammed it shut.The heat straight away hit them as the room was a bright orange smoke hung in the air and coughing could be heard everywhere. Men were shovelling coal into huge boilers their skin was black from the soot. The room seemed to stretch on for miles.Some men were lying on the floor exhausted and some were being carried out on flat wooden boards coughing madly.

Aizel frowned at the heat.
"Gosh, it really is scorching hot in here." she mumbled but approached one of the boilers. The men around her were staring at her strangely. Like she had a second head or something.
"What are they looking at? Haven't they ever seen a girl?" she huffed.

"not down here..Brendon ye need to start straigt away see you later!" The boy shouted walking away.
Brendon nodded picking up a shovel and wiped the sweat off his forehead."Jaysus.." he mumbled he felt his shirt and started fanning himself."Already I'm roasting.." he said to Aizel.

Aizel nodded and sneaked out of the room, coming back after a few with big bottle of water.
"It should be enought for everybody to last half an hour at the least" she said and handed him the drink. She looked around and seeing noone at one boiler she quickly grabbed the shovel and started shoveling the coal in the machine. She huffed. This wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for the heat.

Brendon nodded a thanks starting to shovel "Owch!" he yelled half an hour later as a hot coal landed on his foot and burned his foot even through his shoe. Brendon coughed and went back to work.

@ninjagirl sorry if we post atthe same time but our charas are in different rooms so it should not matter.

Aizel panted. This job really was tiring. Plopping down on the ground she rubbed her forehead, wiping the sweat off of it.

She heard the yell and ran to check it out.
"What did you do again?" she scolded Brendon, worried and then noticed his foot. "Uphh. Why do you always manage to get hurt?" she said with a laught. "Stay here" she said and went to take the bottle of water. She was going to rinse the burn.

"You can be really stubborn" she scolded but never the less got back to her job and shoveled coal.

Brendon winked cheekily at her and started working again. He pushed his hair out of his face panting heavily but kept shovelling.

Dragon woke up and stretched. She looked inside her closet. "hmmm......blue, or red?" she said, holding up two cloaks of differnt colors. She spoke in a slightly french accent, barely noticable but enough to sound musical. She decided on a black one, and for the first time of the trip l;eft her room.

Brendon flicked his hair out of face and continued shovelling the coal into the boiler everytime he did a cloud of smoke flew into his face causing him to cough.

Dragon walked into the coal room, looking around. "escuse me, do you perhaps know where the dining hall is?" she said, pausing here and there to try and remember the correct english word to say.

Brendon turned and pushed his hair out of his face"Aye not down here ma'am go up the stairs you came down take a left go to the elevator go to level 10 and you will see the main stairwway go up take a right and there it is!" he explained.

Aizel was leaning on the shovel, coughting terribly. She noticed the girl that had come in and called her voer.
"It's in the first hall and then *cought* left in the first door. I haven't *cought* seen you before. Are you new" she asked, wheezing slightly, trying to take a decent breath and to clear her lungs. She was lisghtly dizzy. Maybe this job wasn't a good idea after all.

Brendon coughed more and suddenly a huge blast of smoke went into his face. Brendon coughed hard and dropped the shovel making a big chime around the room. Brendon looked at Aizel."You -cough- okay?" he asked his eyes closed due to the smoke.

The smoke clung to Aziel's nose and she was sure that her lungs were full of it. She couldn't get herself to breathe now and she swayed a little. She began suffocating. The coughting did nothing to improve her condition. Her lungs had stopped working.
"Yeah, I'm ....I'm ...." she paused for a moment and then slowly tipped back, falling uncoscious on the floor.

Dragon caught the girl with ease, dragging her out of the room toward the infirmary. "Im talking to the captian about the codition of the workspace!" she said in english before saying something angryly in french. "Follow me!" she said.

Brendon nodded a no."He is to busy give her to me I will bring her away." he said picking her up."Do not worry she is fine..will bring her to my cabin.."Brendon kicked the shovel away and jumped down to Aizel and checked her."Go away for the love of god give her some space!" he roared the men breathing in a ton of smoke.He picked her up and started to leave.He managed to get to his cabin and opened her mouth to breathe and opened his window..Brendon couldnt do anythingi else as he collapsed on the bed exhausted and breathing hard.

Aizel's lungs began working again, and she managed to take a deep breath. Her chest rose and fell steadily, the dust in her lungs clearing up. She hadn't woken up yet but she relaxed in the bed.
