Brendon felt a burn on his chest as a piece of his shirt caught on fire.He quickly put it out but it left a nasty Mark on his chest."Just ten more minutes then we off to new York..and I can leave.." he sighed in relief.This was his second day working in the boiler room and his lungs stung. A bell rang as Brendon dropped his shovel and left.His face was black from the smoke as he wiped it off.He went up to his cabin and collapsed on his bed exhausted.

Aizel took a deep breath and sighed happily. She was sitting on the roof of the main hall, sketchbook in her lap and pencil in hand. She remained unnoticed by the guards and all the passengers as well. She had picked a nice spot. She had a perfect view of the whole deck and the sea too. A few dolphins were swimming alongside the ship and a group of curious photographers had gathered near the railing.
Aizel shook her head. Cameras were such strange modern things. She just preferred to draw. The gentle putlines of the dolphins matched perfectly with the graphite waves in the drawing.

Brendon lifted his head and looked around.He felt a sudden jolt as the engines roared to life and the ship was preparing to leave.Brendon got up and walked up to deck and some first class people stared im disgust at the boy."You go and work in the boiler room and see how good you look afterwards!" he said to them walking away.

Aizel lifted her head to take one last glance at the proud fat lady she was drawing and saw Brendon walking past her. She waved at him, noticing the burns on his cheeks, neck and chest. Her face was pulled into a frown.

Brendon turned around "Oh..Hi." he replied walking over and sitting down."Hows ye?" he asked her.

Aizel blinked.
"So you're burned and scratched and coughting but you aske ME how I am? I'm fine but you're surtainly not. Jesus, where did you burn yourself this bad?" she frowned at the wound in his chest.

Brendon looked at his chest."Oh my shirt caught fire for like five seconds." he said."It could be worse I'm..fine" he replied his eyes sparkled but the seemed to be looking in the other direction. He smirked "Sure I ask you first cause I like to know bout someone else cause I'm not that important." he said.

Aizel annoyedly poked him in the forehead.
"Tch! Troublesome (Shikamaru mode on! XD). Are you trying to get yourself killed? Some people care about you too, you know. I care about you. I'm worried." she said and looked at his wound.

Brendon rolled his eyes "Well then you do not know the people back at my home..I'm leaving Ireland for a reason.." he said looking away"No am not trying kill myself.." he said quietly.

Aizel smiled simpathetically.
"Whatever the reason, you don't need to torture yourself about it. You have friends here. Me and Katia. I'm a little like you. I'm an outcast without friends but this is an amazing change for me. Titanic really can change your life." she mused aloud. "We're friends right?" she asked.

Brendon looked up and smiled sheepishly at her "Of course we're friends!" he laughed "And this ship is quite a change..hopefully Americia is too." he sighed staring at the sky.

"Imagine becoming a star? Becoming rich and famous and flashy and all those things that you wanted to be" she said and lay back, looking at the sky dreamily..

Brendon shrugged "Ah I'd rather work with dogs..that will a much more interesting life.." he sighed flicking his hair out his face.He hummed slightly staring at the sky.

Aizel smiled. She looked at the sky. The white puffy clouds from earlier were now replaced with dark grey ones. She frowned.
"Ught. It's going to rain again." she frowned and started gathering her sketches.

Brendon looked at the sky and picked up something wrapped in tinfoil. He wiped his eyes "Where ye want to go when it rains?" he asked.

Aizel thought a little and then hopped down.
"Somewhere dry, I suppose. You should too, seeing what happened yesterday. You want to go somehwere together? I don't have anything to do alone in my cabin" she said and g;anced at the sky again. This storm was going to be a lot worse than the previous one. It was probably going to go on for days.

Aizel smirked.
"Why does that have to stop us from going? There's probably noone there anyways. Everyone's in their cabins. " she stated and looked up just as the first raindrop hit her nose.

It started raining heeavily. Aizel squeaked and tugged on Brendon's arm, pulling him inside. At least they didn't get wet this time.

Aizel smiled.
"Yup. Let's go before someone sees us." she said quietly and then walked over to the main stairs, avooiding the guards. The pool area was left of the stairs.

Brendon followed her making sure no-one saw them as he climbed the stairs.A large door with a sign which said "1st class swimming pool." Brendon smirked at Aizel.

Aizzel smirked back and pushed the doors open. The swimhall was completely deserted. As she had guessed , most of the passengers were in their cabins, tucked away from the rain. The water in the pool was beutifully illuminated by the light that came from the window on the ceiling. The rain drummed softly onto the glass, creating a soft atmosphere.
Aizel smiled.
"This is so fancy" she mused aloud.

Brendon walked to the edge staring at the water."It's sea water..it's heated.." he laughed looking at the lovely water no ripple or wave broke the surface.

Aizel rushed over to the pool and sat on its edge. She took of her shoes and rolled her pants up before dipping the toes of her feet into the warm water. She shivered with delight.
"It's so warm!" she exclaimed. Her voice echoed in the swimming hall.

Aizel smiled at him and kicked her feet, making small ripples in the pool.
"Aren't you ogoing to go in?" she asked and motioned for him to come over.

Aizel looked at the door on the far edge of the room. It had a big sign 'ONLY FIRST CLASS' on it that dangled only on one nail. The whole room was empty. There wasn't any other noise but the soft drumming of the rain outside.
