Aizel suddenly felt the grip on her shoulder loosen and looked at Brendon.
"What? .. no wait!" she was halfay in to tug his sleeve but the boy had already ran off to the boiler room. She sighed.

What had happened in the boiler room still haunted her. The place was dangerous.

She walked over to the grand hall and put all her effort in remembering the number of Katia's room.

''Oh for the love of god!'' a man shouted as tons of people ran from each boiler trying to keep the fires alight.''Ugh!'' shouted Brendon as water lashed at him.''Brillant..'' he murmured shoveling the coal into the inferno.''Be careful..'' a man shouted inspecting the mens work.

Katia sat on her bed again. And servant burst into the room. 'excuse me?' she cried. 'oh, miss An Barde, you must get into a life boat immediately.'
'why?'
'it seems the ship has hit an iceberg.'
'so?'
'there might be a little damage and we fear for your safety. Your brother and father are already on the lifeboat, follow me now please..'
'how inconvenient! Fine..'

Brendon frantically threw the coal in as the water dripped from the ceiling.''Ugh..this is so hard..'' he shouted.''Well you need to do this!'' a man with a heavy scottish accent replied Brendon cursed loudly at him and continued.

Aizel quickly trotted up the stairs, remembering the number and went to the room in lightning speed. She banged on the door a few times.
"Kat! You there?"

At that moment a servant emerged from the door. Katia walked slowly behind him, yawning. 'oh, hey Aizel. Have you heard? The ship seems to have received some minor damage from a little iceberg...'

Aizel stood dazed for a moment, interpreting what the girl had said.
"Katia ... it wasn't a little iceberg ... it was a mountain" she said between pants, leaning on the railing for support. She had ran up seven sets of stairs to get to Katia's floor.

Brendon heard a man yell "Guys the doors at closing to keep the water in..run!" he yelled as everyone banged the gates as he shut. A loud speaker ringed through every cabin."Attetion passengers the boiler room gates have been secured and no water will reach your cabins have a good evening."

Aizel's head snapped towards the speakers and she sighed in relief.

The fake sense of security flickered in her heart but afer a moment she remembered Brendon. He was still working in the boiler rooms.

She glanced at Katia.
"I think we should stay. You heard the man"

Brendon banged the doors but it was no use."Ah god.." he groaned as he felt his shoes being soaked.The water was only up to his ankles but it was rising quickly.

Aizel stepped in the room and froze on the doorstep, gaping at the interior. It was just unbelievable!

A loud noise of static and a man speaks again "Ladies and Gentlemen..please report up to the main deck WITH your life jackets as it is a safety drill thank you and if something goes wrong women and children first! Enjoy your evening!" it says.

Brendon signed giving the door one last kick "It's useless we're trapped" he sighed as the water rose.

'stick with me, if anything goes wrong we'll be the first ones off the boat. After all, I'm a little girl. In first class. Just pretend to be my maid or something.' she smiled.
